Makes extending the reach of your wallwart PSU easy.
I bought this to replace the plug on a PSU that I bought to power the ONT on my broadband connection. Where I wanted the ONT there was no plug nearby so I bought a power supply with the wrong size plug (because I couldn’t find one with a long enough cable and the right size plug) and I cut the plug off, attached this pigtail and plug to the cut end (twisted together then soldered) and sheathed it all in shrink tubing. It works perfectly and the cable is the perfect length. Just be sure to check the polarity of the device before you attach the cable. If you get the positive and negative wrong there is a tiny chance you could damage something.

It worked but found I didn't have a P.S.U. giving out enough voltage, therefore hanging on to this. Ended up buying a dedicated P.S.U.
