The matt and neck rest are A -1. Both are 'non slip'. Using these tools it makes changing strings or working on the guitar a breeze. I had to file down some frets and when I laid my guitar on the matt and neck rest, it stayed put. It is almost like having another set of hands vs chasing it around on a table or my lap. The matt holds tight and keeps the guitar from getting damaged due to slipping or falling off of the work area. The string winder tool is just a throw in and is not high end, but does work. Do yourself a favor and buy this set. It will make 'guitar life' much easier.

For the price, this is a no brainer for me. For changing strings, fretboard cleaning/polishing and small repairs, it’s a must for me. The neck cradle is dense but soft, and the mat feels quality enough for my monthly maintenance needs. The string winder it’s the highest quality, but I’ve also seen worse. Nice to have another one to assign to a guitar case. I am happy with my purchase. Recommended!!!

This product is great for someone who occasionally needs a well supported work surface to restring a guitar or make repairs but doesn't want a large, permanent structure. This mat can be stored in a small space. My only complaint is that the rubber mat is difficult to get and keep flat. Parts, etc. can easily roll off if you don't make sure the corners are weighted down. The mat comes rolled up, with a strap around it, like it's supposed to be stored that way. But I've had mine for several weeks and keep it unrolled and it still hasn't straightened out. While this is a bit inconvenient, it's not a show stopper and doesn't interfere with using it. I'm very glad I bought it.

Items appear well made. Mat is adequarely thick but still easy to roll up for storage. Foam neck block is nicely finished. String tool appears sturdy. Shipment received quickly.
