do you have to drill through your skateboard all the way to get this on ????

To mount it properly, yes you do. - Look for a review with pictures by Adam. That is the correct way to mount it. Drill through the board and use a countersink tool so the screw heads are slightly below the surface. - See the complaints that it came loose? They did it the wrong way.

What are the actual dimensions of this?

They are 8 1/8 inches end-to-end, 1 1/4 inch side-to-side and 3/8 inch thick.

will this work on a 7.5 inch board

Unfortunately, this is an 8 inch tail bone therefore it will be too large for a 7.5 inch board. This tail bone is primarily used for old school skateboards that range from 9 to 10.5 inches. Although, there are alternative tail guards that can be used on smaller boards or penny/nickel boards and there are some DIY methods as well.

Will this product fit the v2 boosted board?

No. The V2 doesn't really have a nose or tail to wear down or attach this product to. I don't recommend buying this for a V2.
