This is a level of quality above several of the other electronic strike plates on Amazon UK, in terms of how sturdy it feels, and the quality of the metals they've made it with. I evaluated this along with three of the less heavy duty alternatives and this is by far the best for my use case, of enabling my front door to be opened by a little Arduino-driven access control system I built. (In fact, I embedded a pet ID chip in the webbing between my index and middle finger on my left hand, so I can wave my hand at the reader, and the Arduino reads the chip number, and activates the strike plate if it matches my number.) As well as being better quality and stronger, this unit has a much taller strike plate than the others, which means you can use it with ERA locks as well as Yale. I'll post an update and some photos this week after I've used it for a bit. -- I post honest reviews, only of products I've bought, or have experience of, and only to help other buyers. small cabable electric door lock. easy to install with a secure and sturdy mechanism

The products functionality was everything as described in the description, it works perfectly. The product is however quite bulky and long so a large hole has to be created where you are installing the lock. Apart from that the product is 100% functional and i would recommend for Access Control Systems.
