I really like the Aimeili products. I’ve been using their gel nail polish and top coat for a while now for press on extensions. But I recently bought the builder gel to try and grow out my natural nails. My natural nails are a hot mess after 7 consecutive years of professional gel nails and a year-ish of diy press ons. They’re thin and split easy. I could never grow out my nails. This gel builder is super easy to use, it’s fairly self leveling, so it’s very user friendly. There are a few uneven places near the sides of my nails but that’s more my error than anything. My thumb nail was completely broken off and I used the builder gel with nail forms to build up a free edge and make it look even with my other nails and while it’s uneven (my fault) it’s really solid and looks fairly natural. All my other nails pictured are my natural nails with 1 layer of builder gel, 2 coats of Aimeili gel polish in light pink and the no wipe top coat. They’ve lasted over a week with no cracks, chips or lifting. I work in the medical field so my nails go through hell. For the builder gel specifically, There is a smell, which was to be expected. It’s nothing overwhelming or nauseating, and it does get quite warm / burns under the UV lamp But if you’re used to getting professional gel nails done it’s not unbearable. It is quite thick in consistency, but I find that easier to work with and control/ put the product where I want it. It dries tacky, so you don’t need to put a base coat on before you apply polish. If you’re not wanting polish, you can file / buff it down and apply a top coat (gel or regular polish, or do a dip power on top) it buffs to a beautiful natural matte, which I loved. All in all I’m super happy with my purchase, I’ve loved their products for a while now and will continue to purchase it.

So impressed with this Aimeli set. The builder base is a fantastic consistency (like honey) and very use to use and manipulate. It cures really well under my Opallac LED lamp. I find that without a proper gel or acrylic base my gel polish chips after a couple of days, this has really extended my wear (at least a week or more) & allowed me to grow out my nails as well as it prevents them from breakage. I tried the Aimeli coloured builder bases and wouldn’t recommend them as they burned when being cured, the clear did not do this at all. The No Wipe Top Coat is amazing and has a beautiful and long lasting shine. Overall really happy with them, especially for the price point! Such a bargain and saving me a ton of $$ by not getting them done in the salon all the time.

I'm so glad I got this little set. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of tutorials on how to do uv gel nails at home. Never thought I would be able to but finally gave it a try and loved it. This was my first time trying it and it was just over my natural nails, no tips or anything. Its been a little over a week and they're still strong without any lifting, peeling or chipping. The application is easy, just a lot of steps and best to take your time. I've learned nail prep is key to making the nails last. The natural nail needs to be filed and shaped to how you want it Then you need to clean it with a nail cleanser (or rubbing alcohol) (i believe this is where you add your tips if you wanted them - just file, shape then clean again once done) Next is dehydrate the nail with a dehydrator (or rubbing alcohol - i used rubbing alcohol and it was good) The primer (i used Aimeili primer) comes next which you let air dry for 30ish seconds then you can do the builder gel I did a very thin layer of builder base avoiding cuticles and just wiping any I got on my skin then cured it for 60 seconds in the uv led lamp, I repeated this 3 times for 3 very thin layers After the layers were done I wiped them down real quick with nail cleanser/rubbing alcohol and did a final filing/shaping. I did a final wipe down to remove any dust with a nail brush then some rubbing alcohol I applied a thin layer of gel polish, cured for 60 seconds then repeated 2 more times (3 layers, very thin) Finally I applied the Aimeili no wipe coat, cured for 60 seconds and was done. It sounds like a lot but its worth it and the nails come out how want it

Very good product. Adheres well to the nail once the gel prep is done correctly. Lasts long. Dries well with UV light. Strong and easy to do fills with too. This is the second batch I’ve purchased. No strong noxious odour either. Would definitely recommend. I do my own nails instead of going to a salon. I’ve tried dip systems but, this gel is the easiest to use. It’s consistent and you can build the nail just like using nail polish.
