Easily matches some "all in one" kits that cost 5 times as much!
This is a great kit to get started with your Pi, and the many sensors you can connect to it. It is fantastic to do a lesson without building a "rats nest" of wires, then tearing it down to start with a different sensor. The tutorial code is very helpful, with an overview of the lesson, and extra insight into the main sensor component being used. Now I will say I had a problem with the provided circuit board. (once in a while it happens). I emailed my issue to the Freenove support team. However, I was not sure what expect. Well, they were %100 responsive, and shipped me a new board. And the kicker...... they sent it First Class! With that kind of customer support, I will be purchasing either their Arduino, or ESP32 kits when I am done with this Pi kit. Good job Freenove. I'm sold.

Great way to start Raspberry Pi Maker projects
I just unboxed Freenove's Project Kits and am very impressed with the quality and packaging of their all-in-one solution. I've tried project kits from other vendors but the continuous wiring/jumper cable assembly/disassembly was so time consuming and error-prone that my teenager would get frustrated and give up. Now with just a jumper from your Raspberry Pi (sold separately) you get access to almost every IoT/Sensor experiment combination possible without the time and hassle of re-wiring. There are small jumper cables from the board to some external sensors, but everything is labeled clearly. I've previously purchased the Robot dog kit from Freenove and was impressed with the quality, packaging and extensive documentation and responsive support. I'm looking forward to hacking a few weekend projects with my son and will update my review if anything changes. But for a Raspberry Pi Projects kit, this is the best I've found so far.

Easy to learn Rasberry Pi programming because everything is prewired.
I liked the ease of use. Most items are prewired on the board. The additional items have easy to use plugs. No more extra wires. All theory and code are fully explained in the tutorial. Overall, the sensors and actuators used match the ones in the Ultimate Starter Kit. I thought the bolts and nuts used to attach the backboard and Rasberry Pi are very small. I am 69 years and they are hard to handle. The prewired board has one main drawback. You don't learn about use of a breadboard which is a big part of prototyping.

This is a great kit
I purchased this kit to learn about interfacing hardware with raspberry pi. The kit is well made and I liked the fact that there was minimal rewiring necessary to run the different tutorial circuits. I found the tutorial documentation to be very good. It covered a wide variety of circuits, and included detailed descriptions of both the circuits and the scripts to run them. The scripts were supplied in both C and python. I found it especially valuable that the tutorial descriptions contained a little background information on how the components work and a detailed schematic. Since most of the components are attached to the main board, having the schematic was very helpful in understanding how the circuits worked. I highly recommend this kit.

code library is useless
the library of code you have to use for projects has not ben updated in over two years and for GPIO it relies on wiringpi (an app that was shut down in 2019 and wont work with any kernel above 4.6) therefore the code wont/cant run.... cant use the board unless you build your own code.... 600 pages of uselessness also a minor side point, the screws that hold the top to the bottom are black plastic, not metal like pictured.

I got my board a few days ago and I was able to quickly assemble it using the provided instructions and play with the first two projects. The board works perfectly with a Raspberry Pi Zero Wireless first generation (armv6l). I have a couple of Raspberry Pi devices around but I preferred to test it using the Pi Zero. The quality of the hardware provided by Freenove reminds me of an Apple product, really well done and a nice looking board, simply beautiful. The current Raspberry OS is different vs the one presented in the documentation, but everything works mostly the same, one just needs to pay a little attention for the small name changes in the menus (e.g. raspi-config changed the location of where various settings were in the past). The provided instructions for building the projects are clear and easy to follow. I would encourage everyone to run the provided code and then try to redo the code from scratch without picking at the solution. Once you have a working code, compare your code with the provided one. This is the best approach if you wants to learn. Based on your programming background, you can chose between C and Python to follow with the projects. It is also possible to do the projects in Processing (Java) but it is recommended (in the provided documentation) to do them first in C or Python. I didn't tried the Java version for the first two projects I already did but I will do it in the next days. Looking forward to a few weekends of playing with the Freenove Raspberry Pi projects board !

Simple to use and get results quickly testing hardware or software,great examples to cut and place for your own jobs

He comprado esta placa para aprender de microelectrónica y la cantidad de componentes que puedo usar en infinidad de proyectos. Esta placa es gloria para aquellos que no quieren tener que conectar decenas de cables y resistencias con sumo cuidado a una placa de pruebas (breadboard), que suelen tiene conexiones endebles y dar problemas en proyectos ligeramente más complejos. Mi experiencia ha sido óptima. Sacas los componentes, montas la placa, la conectas a la Raspberry Pi, ejecutas el código (en mi caso Python) ¡y a funcionar! 10 minutos y ya tienes el primer ejemplo tirando. Evidentemente, esta placa no es para lo usuarios más avanzados, aunque podrían sacarle utilidad (empezando por la gran cantidad de componentes que vienen incluidos como parte del kit), pero para la gente de nivel básico y medio les hará las delicias. Eso sí, ayuda tener el tutorial impreso, o en una pantalla aparte. Recomendable 100% si quieres iniciarte en el mundillo de IoT y divertirte encendiendo luces, leyendo temperaturas y haciendo sonar cacharritos, entre otras muchas cosas.

しばらく放って置いてやっと使ったら、ブザーのセクターで動作がおかしい、ダウンロードしたpythonコードを動かすと本来スイッチを押しまでoffになるはずが最初からon状態に、調べるとプルアップされてるはずのスイッチ電圧が1V(本来3.3v)しかなく更に調べるとブザーに繋ぐためのDIPスイッチを入れるとおかしくなることが判明した、嫌気がさして使うのやめた、返品期間も過ぎていて、ボードにセンサー直付けの為センサーのみの使用もかなわずただのオブジェになった。

Il kit unisce didattica e divertimento, la guida all'installazione e agli esperimenti è ben fatta e completa. Attenzione agli switch, che devono essere posizionati correttamente per ciascuna esperienza. Corredato dal SW in C e Python, è anche un valido stimolo allo studio dei linguaggi e delle relative librerie.
