Just buy this one it works good I use it on a dumbo DDF 350 with a p series receiver and I can set the failsafe to activate when the radio loses signal with no problems at all

I really like this kill switch, I am using it on a large scale RC boat. I did manage to make it work using a 2 channel radio. I have a Spektrum DX2E with SR310 receiver. I first tried to make it work using the Aux port and then the bind button, however that did not function correctly. So the next thing I did was get a y cable adapter and put in inline with my throttle port. I had to change around my servo around to make it work correctly (when you give it forward speed the engine is still hot, if you tap the reverse throttle it kills the engine). After I set the remote fail safe to put the throttle servo in full reverse after radio failure the kill switch works perfect! If I lose remote connection the engine is killed, if I lose power the engine is killed, if I tap the reverse throttle the engine is killed. For the money I dont think you can find a better kill switch.

The whole prosses of installing is very simple. I have alot of machanical knowledgel. I can say that almost any person with any knowledge of putting things together by instructions should be able to. It works great too. Now down fall is the wires to coil broke very easily but went to hardware store and got some of the same 90* bend style need that for clearence ya had to buy wires to split the power to other parts of the system (light's ) ect. But now i have them so i can add. More lights thank you !

Simple install on HPI Baja 5 B ... Its been on the shelf for Years because of uncontrolled run offs... Connected this to 3rd channell in receiver and the pigtail to existing cut off .... Fired it up...Turned Off Radio... Throttle surged and It died.... There are Fancier ways but turning Off the radio works for me .... 5 Thumbs up Installed the LED Light in Receiver box / drilled viewing hole in body ... Confirmation light is great, that its working

Completely stopped working after two months. Will not buy again. It's better just to have a good radio system in your rc car. This is a pos.

Its so easy to hook up. Didnt even need to set my rc.. just plugged it in to the stop, then to my servo. Tested it on ch3 and loss of connection etc. Instantly works. Its also cheaper than any of the other ones.. one that that sucks is it has no low voltage protection above 6v.

Install it on HPI Baja 5b with no problem. I compatible with spectrum receiver and worked like a charm. Make sure that you install the frequency blocker.
