I never knew how good a fig could be ๐I'm so excited I found this can't wait for it to arrive! I love this fig splendor- I slice thin then place on top goat cheese and put on crackers,cucumber etc. After opening, I usually refrigerate in crisper drawer stay perfectly fresh for a very long time ! (no drying as mentioned in other review has ever happened to me & I got turned on to this stuff several years ago. My local store just stop carrying this.)

This fig paste has just the right amount of sweetness and it goes very well with a cheese platter.

This shimmering preserve is indescribable -- the rich, mellow, almost caramel-like sweetness of fresh figs with a bright lemony spark. just delectable as is or as a recipe ingredient or as a garnish for a dish. Scrumptious. It was all I could do not to eat the whole container at one sitting. Five stars all the way. DELISH! Try it sliced thinly over a rice cake
