Mudder Locking Pin Keepers Backs, No Tool Required (Silver, 30 Pieces)

The Mudder locking pin backs are high quality and work great. No worrying about your favorite collectible pins falling off and getting lost. I use the pin backs on my collection of Disney pins that I decorate my jean jackets with. The pin backs connect to the pins easily and stay in place. It takes time to learn how to remove the backs, but with a little practice it will become easy. Push down on the flat part of the pin back, and squeeze the raised part and then pull up on it. The metal storage case that is included makes it easy and convenient to store unused pin backs, as well as the plastic pin backs that come with Disney pins.

These work amazingly. Rubber backs have a habit of popping off of the pins I have affixed to my laptop backpack, and I don't like the standard metal locking backs because they snag on fabrics and fibers too much or scratch books that may be in the back. These, however, have been a godsend. Not a single snag, not a single scratch.My only complaint is that they do their job almost TOO well (meaning that it's VERY difficult to remove them if you need or want to move or replace a pin). Perhaps I'm just inept at pulling them off. That said, I'd rather struggle to take a pin off my backpack than to look down and find one's fallen off and lost, so it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.

I'm sorta hard on my purse, so when I found these dangerous animals pins, I had to find a way to keep them on. I almost tried the allen wrench ones, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to reach it inside the small pocket! Worked so good the pin broke before the back gave out. Highly recommend!!

These Pin Keeper Backs can be used on any standard pin and locks them in place.I got them for a set of pins I wanted to place on a bag and was afraid they would fall off, these work great hold them on strong.How they work:-Simply push them on a pin to lock them in place, push on the base to secure them-Pull on the back to loosen the lock and remove from the pin (you need to keep the end pulled out when you pull)Pros:-Locking! These things really grab onto the pins, unlike the cheap brass clasps my pins came with-Easy! No tools!Cons:-Bulky, these things are slightly larger then a standard pin back-Little hard to remove. It can be a little tricky to remove, pulling on the very small pin back while pulling can take a couple tries.-Medium Quality. I have had a little issue with the BACK COMING APART! I had to get needle nose pliers to pull on the inner cylinder to unlock it and get it offOverall these has been a life saver (and money saver!) for my pins on my bag!

I didn't need 30 of these, but they were exactly what my daughter needed to securely hold her pins on her varsity jacket. The backs that come with varsity pins loosen easily resulting in pins falling off and getting lost. After this happened to my daughter a couple of times, I searched on Amazon and found Mudder Locking Pin Keepers Backs, No Tool Required (Silver, 30 Pieces). I'm thinking it might be a great idea for a team or sports booster club at a high school to purchase this product to hand out to athletes when pins are awarded to use in place of the backs that come with the pins.

I have some really cute pins on my work messenger bag, but they would pop off daily. I even ended up losing one somewhere and never found it. They had those backs you pinch together and those are not very secure. I bought these a while ago and haven’t lost a pin since. These are very secure and hold beautifully. I’m rough with my work bag and these have stood up to the challenge. A great product!!

My daughter started using these and she no longer loses her pins. They stay put on her backpack and lanyard.

They are a little large but they hold better then the cheap rubber backings or even the metal butterfly clutch. The butterfly clutches have a smaller length so they don't protrude as much, but aren't as strong. One of these backings was able to hold up my 35 pound bookbag by the pin, so they aren't coming off by accident any time soon.
