Wonderful Tool
What can I say? It's a Bus Pirate and if you are here and know this name; you know what it can do for you as a tool for today's electronics/hacks/etc. It's worth it and IMHO pays for itself over time frustrating yourself trying to determine things whether you have the instructions or not! Fired right up, used PUTTY to connect, and was able to debug some I2C comms on a sensor I was working it that had little instruction, code, and direction. Worked great and got what I needed. Time is money and don't pound your head against a wall (unless you want to!) and grab one if you have the need; won't be disappointed.

Must have tool for every hardware hacking toolkit
The bus pirate is a must have for anyone doing hardware hacking, design, debugging, etc. When you get it make sure to update the firmware the latest community firmware version from GitHub so you can take advantage of the features the bus pirate has to offer.
