Got this for my son but I think I need one too.

My daughter uses this for learning and practice, because I want her to know cursive. She enjoys this book and it’s easy to use.

I loved this book so much! I brought this for my younger brother because they stopped teaching cursive in his elementary school and he struggled reading some of his teacher’s handwriting because it was in cursive. I found this book on Amazon & thought it was a great way for him to learn cursive cause that’s how I learned in 2nd grade. He used the book to practice writing each letter upper & lower case. He can confidently write & read cursive now and I am so happy I brought this book for him.

This is not a beginner book. If your child is just starting cursive, I suggest you find a book that begins by teaching them strokes, such as practicing c, a, and d in that order since those letters are formed the same way. Avoid beginner books that teach cursive in alphabetical order. Your child already knows the alphabet. What they need is to learn how to form cursive letters. That said, once your child has finished a beginner book, this is a great continuation book. It starts with a warm-up of practicing letters and then goes right into words and sentences. If your child hasn’t already learned the basics of cursive letter formation, this book would be too challenging.

I’m trying to improve my handwriting; it’s getting a little shaky & sloppy. This is a perfect tool for that. I place a clear plastic sheet over the pages & use a dry erase marker to trace over the letters…I highly recommend!
