have used this product for 4 years, it is solid and reliable. I paid 517.00 for the entire kit and it beats the crap out of any other comparable Ideal or Byte Bros. junk. this thing needs to be treated like test equipment. You can’t throw it around like a butt set or a toner. it is a sensitive measurement tool. The only time I have issues is when the battery gets low. My Ideal tester lasted 8 months until the Modular jack stopped making contact with all 8 wires. spent 500 for that one. Bought the Real World Certifier for 600.00 it crapped out after being plugged into a live jack, lasted 6 months, sent in for repair , 2 months later, it was trash. I have been in the business for 30 years, this is the best value tester available. the 1star reviewer is mis informed.

Used for about a year and Then one day it decided not to work. Only give you one testing end for 500 you should get way more.
