Ultimate Ears Hyperboom Portable & Home Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Black (Renewed)

As this was the ONLY peloton compatible brand, and I have their smaller speaker in my shower (my shower Blast /Boom is international!) I thought, meh let’s try this out. So now I host neighbourhood Peloton classes, Adrian Williams blasting through the neighborhood at 5 am! She is a loud one. She is portable. Sound quality is excellent. And the clarity is spot on from both production and blue tooth connectivity. Not too heavy to carry downstairs and in the garden to annoy the neighbours with some summer cool jazz. Why doesn’t anyone like jazz music anymore?

The speaker itself is excellent. It is the second one I have. Previously, I gave a poor rating due to the poor refurbishment process a previous speaker went through. I just now received a replacement and it is absolutely perfect. It is LIKE NEW. Thank you guys!

Shattered my expectations with regards to sound quality. This is the best sounding Bluetooth speaker in its category. Tremendously full audio with tight but punchy bass, this is worlds beyond UE's next biggest speaker, the megaboom, and the sound is much more balanced with better stereo separation then the JBL Xtreme, which I suppose is its closest competitor. I will say this is probably best used as a home speaker, not to be carried around frequently or used in rugged environments. It just doesn't evoke the indestructibility that the boom and megaboom have, not to mention this is also not a waterproof speaker. But against the wall in my living room this thing is epic, we've used it for movies and it sounds like a full sound bar with a dedicated sub. I've also taken it to work, where it gets a lot of attention and compliments. I love being able to turn it on/off from the app, battery life is ample and charges fast, and the aux in and phone charging features I've all been happy to have. Easy recommend overall.

First one i received looked like it got through the rebuild stage untouched, didn't function and was in rough condition. When I called to return, the process was great and the next one I received was perfect! Sound quality is great as well as bass level. I use it constantly, especially when camping.

Hyperboom is the absolute Best. I work in the operating room and a Neuro Surgeon owns one he calls it the Neuroboom. This Hyperboom has all the other Operating Room suites so jealous they made him lower it volume because they couldn’t focus with the volume up. I’ve had mine for about three days and I can’t turn it off…Amazing portable speakers 5 Stars all the way

Great speaker have two of these one I’ve had for three years no issues. The other one I had for a year battery went bad. Amazon would not help me. Had to take it apart myself and buy a new battery which is currently on the way ordered another speaker so at least I would have two so I continue using them both when I ordered the second replacement speaker. It came quickly. Speaker worked great but did not come with original charger came with a target laptop charger, which is not compatible with the speaker and would not charge the speaker contacted Amazon for the original ultimate ears charger they assured me it’s gonna be sent to me but again Amazon Customer Service was not that helpful. I asked them who refurbishes these speakers and to do a quality control check and they could not give me any answers and would not help me. I do not want to buy a brand new speaker for the three to $400 price range. I love the product. It works good have no problem putting another battery in it or buying the correct charger for the speaker, but either Amazon or the company needs to do the right thing and send the correct product and if they are in fact, refurbishing these products as advertised there needs to be new parts installed and they need to be product tested in quality control needs to be passed before they are sent to whoever purchases them so just a message to the company or Amazon if they’re reading this please do everything right provide correct charger. If the project is a refurbished product, please make sure whatever was replaced is replaced not just said it was and have defective products left in it. I really don’t want to not do business with Amazon or the company anymore, but these things need to be properly refurbished and come with properly factory parts in at least guaranteed to work longer than a year enough said other than what I mentioned is a great product and a good sounding speaker.

Doesn't always work. Would be perfect if the app and pairing weren't garbage. I'm constantly fighting with the speaker trying to get it to power on, pair with my other UE speakers, and having drop outs when paired. If all of this worked, I'd buy another today and give it a 5 star review. When paired with Megaboom, there is a significant latency with the Hyperboom causing a reverb effect. This is absurd. A $400 speaker paired with a $200 speaker shouldn't have this problem. My $20 bluetooth speaker that I received as a promo at a trade show has better pairing than these. The fact that the speakers don't pair well and have so many glitches causes me to regret my purchase. It does sound awesome though, so if you only use one, it's potentially a good buy. Otherwise, I'd pass and look for a higher quality brand.

In the 70's I listened on my Marantz receiver and AR speakers. Fast forward to today and I have purchased many bluetooth speakers but nothing as clear, defined and full spectrum as the Hyperboom. I finally slurged. The price was good for a refurbished item. I like the UE app. I can turn the speaker off from my phone which is handy. I can easily add a second UE speaker, my Megaboom 4. This fills the house with my music. The app also includes an EQ. Balanced bass and treble. Clear and great to this musician's ears!🙂

Llevo ya mucho tiempo con esta bocina, sin lugar a dudas una de las mejores inversiones que e hecho, calidad de sonido y volumen excelentes, en compañía con una de las megaboom es una disco todos me pregunta por ella la verdad quede maravillado con su sonido, le compre la mochila de transporte y la verdad todos se quedan asombrados aparte de que se ven todas sus bocinas muy chic sin tanto blin blin. Wow, the sound of highs, Mid range and Base is incredible. When paired with another Hyperboom it’s like your at a concert. Loud, crisp and not distorted sound. Absolutely love this speaker
