Yes, you wring it out with your hands. Just like you would wring out a cleaning cloth. This product is a must buy, better than any mop on the market!

what is the diameter of the hole? so that I can buy the stick to match........please seller, be more specific about the items you sell.......

I am not the seller but, I use my old broom and mop handles. I didn't have to by special sticks, the hole is average size. I have been using these mop heads for years. I used to be able to buy them, stick and mop head together, at Smart and Final. Hope that helps.

What cycle should I use in the washing machine and what water temperature?

I just use my regular cycle with warm water. I was it with other microfiber cloths I use every time I clean the house. Dry everything else but just screw this back onto handle which is hanging in my laundry room.
