Tasty and easy to cook
Love the texture and how easy it is to cook. I mix it with quinoa and barley to replace rice — it’s delicious.

Love the nutty flavor
I love Dura Bulgur's nutty flavor. This is a repeat purchase for me. Coarse grain makes it a perfect substitute for rice. Bulgur Wheat comes in four different grinds: fine, medium coarse, coarse, and extra coarse bulgur. A fine or medium grind is good for salads and baked goods, and medium or coarse grinds are better for pilafs or stuffings. Ali Julia review Review of Duru Extra Coarse Bulgur

Delicious
This was my first time trying bulgar. It was delicious. I cooked it in the rice cooker which is super easy. Just rinse it, dump it in the rice cooker and let it cook. I then place it in a container in the fridge for the week and then I just take out what I need and sauté with some onions, butter and seasoning. It was delicious. I’ve lost weight on the GOLO diet plan and they push healthy carbohydrates. So I’ve been experimenting with ancient grains. I will purchase this again.

Was good
This had been a great purchase (bought it 4 times) and it had been a good replacement for rice while I was on gestational diabetes diet and while I would continue to eat it, I just will not purchase it from this vendor anymore as the most recent package opened up in the cardboard box (which contained some inedible objects meaning the most recent purchase ended up being trash); usually they are good with packaging except this most recent one so I canceled my subscription— and the rating is based on the average of the other good purchases (the most recent would’ve been a one star)

Healthy food
My family like to cook bulgur sometimes, I used to buy it at the local market and first time tried to order it from Amazon. Great quality, good value for the price, it’s pretty easy to cook and absolutely delicious

Coarse Bulgur is great for pilaf, but...
I have ordered Duru coarse or extra coarse bulgur wheat from Amazon many times and I thoroughly enjoy making pilaf with it. However for my last order I was sent *fine* bulgur instead of the *coarse* I had ordered and this type makes a mushy mess instead of a tasty pilaf but the package wasn't returnable which was disappointing. Be sure to specify which grain you want when you order.
