The spark discharge between the distributor rotor and the HT lead contacts generate heat and a high proportion of aggressive nitrogen oxides. Wire numbers on cap

Numbered cap. with the firing order/1342, and direction of rotation embossed on it. cyl.#1 is front and #4 is back. I wish Bosch made a rotor with a potted contact like may bosch caps are. Note;BE SURE THE DISTRUBITOR GROUND WIRE IS SECURED TO THE FIRE WALL.
