This knife is exactly what I was looking for. It holds a sharp edge for a long time. It has a classic look. The leather sheath is double stitched and very sturdy. Quality all around. I can't believe I got a knife of this quality at that price. I'll have this knife for the rest of my life.

Excellent knife. Smaller than I would like for big game hunting, but it would be fine. I like a bit bigger knife, so I’ll probably use it in the kitchen and general use a lot. It about the size of a paring or steak knife. It really is very nice looking and a huge value.

I have several schrade knives, both older USA and newer Chinese manufacture. I find both to be outstanding. The 162 Wolverine is no exception. Beautiful workmanship and good steel make it a fine tool for any discriminating Hunter or fisherman. Among my schrades I have many old German and Nordic hunting knives that I've picked up at yard sales. These blades are touted as having excellent steel but I'm always surprised at how many I find with broken tips. I've seen reviews on modern schrade knives and they are judged poorly because the new owner broke tip of the blade. Breaking a blade tip is the fault of the user, pure and simple. Buy a modern schrade knife, any model, and you won't be disappointed.
