My old squeezer broke because it had plastic gears. This one is nice and sturdy. I get every drop of juice from my limes with this thing. First I put a half lime with the cut face toward the slits and squeeze it. I do the same with the other half. Then I turn both of them the other direction. And put them in together and squeeze again. I repeat this once more with a second lime and then put all 4 pieces together, cut side toward the slots and give them a final squeeze. I’m always surprised out much more juice I get even with the last squeeze.

This item is sturdy and I have used it almost a dozen times in the past month. I am able to get as much juice out of every lemon, lime and orange as is possible. I've used it in making cakes and drinks. I bought 2-one for a family member who uses it frequently, too. It cleans easily and stores well. We are both happy with this juicer.
