You Can Do It
I'm no mechanic so only cost told me that I had to figure this out. Why pay a dealer a few hundred bucks when I can actually do it myself, with the help of YouTube. I followed the step by step process and it really wasn't that hard. The product is as good as original, so go for it. Once you get out the main screws, just rip the old box out and snap in the new one.

Works perfect on 2002 avalanche , just put it on . Ran truck down the highway at different speeds . This is the box u need for 2002 avalanche 5.3 4-24-2026

Good but not great.
Not that happiest with the foam seals which is the entire reason I originally wanted this new box. It's nice quality otherwise and uses a metal torx bit instead of plastic Phillips like the OEM. Might try and repair that before it gets worse but it's not a huge problem.

Air box for 2015 Chevy Silverado
My problem wasn’t the product it looked sufficient it was that it didn’t fit double check where your air intake goes into the fender mine was straight and this was curved. The listing said it fit my truck but it didn’t.
