Can’t believe I waited so long to buy this! The size is perfect to throw in a bag for traveling. The speeds are actually very powerful for the size of this fan. Fan is very lightweight and will cool you off in no time. Charge will last for a lot longer than I expected. Would make a great gift! Love the relaxing noise it makes for night time or napping. Great quality and such a great price point.

Great fan, you can’t just beat the size of the blade with those smaller, and heavier, turbo fans. I tried these turbo fans as well and when outside in the hot and humid weather the bigger fan size just works better, air is moving over a bigger surface area. It also folds to a more compact size making it easier to fit in one of your pockets. It’s lighter partly because of the smaller battery, which is smaller than listed but still plenty. We used it during the day in 90-100 high humidity weather and it helped stay a bit cooler. It can also be put in a table and give you a nice breeze when having lunch in a warm restaurant, which was really really nice. Overall give this fan a try, I ordered all this fancy fans and ended up using this during my trip.

My friend came to visit me in SWFL at the end of July, it was the hottest week of the year. While she was here she told me she was going to order this fan to use while sitting on the lanai or at the beach. I was skeptical on how well such a small rechargeable fan would work. She said that she had bought one a few months prior, and it was amazing, but it was at her house. She spoke so highly about it, I decided to order one as well. It did not disappoint. It charges quickly and has three fan speeds to choose from. Low, medium, and high, all put out a good amount of air. If you’re looking for a handheld rechargeable fan, I would recommend this one.

This little fan is a wonder !! This is the 2nd one I've purchased. I've used it overnight for sleeping--it runs for over 8 hours without quitting on the slowest speed (it is so powerful, I rarely need a higher speed, even when placing it 3 feet away). We've had 90-100 degree weather lately & I've run it all day plugged in--24 hours--and the little wonder keeps running, & doesn't overheat. On the slow speed it almost can't be heard it's so quiet ! The higher speeds aren't very loud, either. A while back, I bought one of another brand that doesn't work nearly as well. The wire stand that comes with this one is kind of a pain to use, but the fan balances on the handle just fine without it. It can be adjusted in all sorts of ways, angles, to satisfy any need. I thought I got a plug-in charger for the power cord to plug into with the first one, but not this 2nd one. Either I'm mistaken & the plug-in didn't come with it or the company stopped including it--either way, I have the first one so that's fine. All in all, I won't be buying any brand of hand fan other Version Tech. As Mikey says, "try it, you'll like it" !

I am sooo happy that I came across this item. I literally carry it with me all the time. I have hyperhidrosis and if that wasn't bad enough, due to my kidneys not working properly I sweat even more so I've been in serious need of this. Even though I stay with my ice cold water (8 bottles or more a day), eating ice chips and lots of paper towels to dry my face, neck, etc, it doesn't matter. I just couldn't take it anymore. No joke, the few times that it does get cold here (south florida), it just doesn't touch me. I am basically walking around with a wife beater shirt and I'm still sweating. I even sweat while sitting in front of a fan, with the ac on. I'd had enough and needed a portable solution, my body was, is, literally overheating. Plus, I really got tired of when I would walk into a building, people seriously would ask me if its raining out. It was just so frustrating not to mention embarrassing as it would obviously draw unnecessary attention to me. I would constantly feel compelled to explain myself. Then finally in comes this fan, my life saver. It holds a charge for a very long time but I still charge it every night just to be on the safe side. Also, the force of the air is powerful and really cool, not just hot air blowing at you with some of the little weak fans. Nope, this reminds me of those oscillating standing fans, its got the same power. I catch myself trying to sing directly into it but it doesn't produce the same effect as the bigger ones. Some people know what I'm talking about. The point is, I LOVE THIS, I needed this and I am beyond thankful for this. No more explaining. If anything people look at me now like I need to go get one of those. Nothing but LOVE for this. Thank you so much Amazon and VersionTech!!!!! Oh, and had to add, after I introduced my Mom to this she instantly realized what great gifts they would make. Who wouldn't love this especially if you live in a hot climate. Money so well spent!!! GET IT!!! GET IT NOW!!! If you are like me and have issues with sweating, go, SAVE YOURSELF and get this NOW!!! It will change your life. Seriously, it makes such a difference. Thanks for reading!

Updated 8/17/25: The manufacturer emailed me last month after seeing my review and offered to send me a replacement fan since mine was obviously defective. I'm happy to report the new fan has worked well with no charging issues so far. So I'm updating my review and rating since the customer service was excellent and the new fan is working as expected. I used this maybe once or twice and then it stopped working and wouldn't charge. A year later and it still won't charge.

Fan speed is good, fan is very handy and light weight, can fit into sling bag. I had a similar fan from Opolar brand, but this is much more compact and efficient.

Come prima impressione, aprendo la scatola che lo contiene, è che potrà fare poco o nulla. Ha invece delle prestazioni notevoli, sia come portata d'aria (3 velocità) che come silenziosità. E' un ventilatore, non un condizionatore, e quindi non può diminuire la temperatura dell'aria (la spiegazione del suo "raffrescare" esula da questa recensione, ma può facilmente essere trovata in rete). Molto facile da collocare in una qualsiasi posizione grazie al funzionamento privo del cavo di alimentazione (ricarica tramite USB). Nella confezione è presente il cavo di ricarica ma non la spina.
