Fresh Step Clumping Cat Litter, Multi-Cat, Long Lasting Odor Control Kitty Litter with Activated Charcoal, Low Dust Formula, 14 lb

Owning cats for decades, I've tried SO MANY types of litter. I've really been seeking something a little more eco friendly than traditional clay litter, but everything I tried smelled so bad or tracked horrendously (not to mention they were all incredibly expensive.) I'm very pleased to have found this Fresh Step. It REALLY controls odor for almost 4 weeks. Scooping is easy. Some tracking, but not more than regular litter, and much less than others I tried. We use a VERY large/deep box, so I find I need two boxes of this to fill it. If you are sensitive to fragrances, I feel this does have a LITTLE bit of fragrance to it, but we are very sensitive, and it's not enough to bother us, nor do I feel it bothers our cat.

My cat likes this cat litter. I have tried all the other brands and my cat likes this litter. I have litter robot and it works well with litter robot. Good clumping the light weight is easy to use. I have used this litter for over 20 years. Other brands may be on sale but I will purchase this brand over other brands of litter that are on sale.

This has been my go-to litter for over 10 years. I spent years trying to find a fragrence-free litter that doesn't smell when used and clumps well. This is it.A bit dusty, so I pour it close to the litter box, but that's a minor complaint for a litter that works this well. I combine this with a Litter Genie for a litter station that literally has zero smell (as confirmed by many guests). I hate the smell of cat litter when I visit people that just don't know that a better product exists. I always try to get them to switch, and when they finally do, it's a night and day difference in terms of smell.So happy that a product like this exists, as I hate the smell of litter boxes, but don't want a litter with added fragrances, since cats hate them.

Been using this brand of cat litter for a few years now and it works perfect. It's a little dusty, but it clumps very well and I even scoop it straight into the trash because it keeps the smell down quite well. It still tracks around the litter box, and I have a piece of carpet to try and help with the scattering, but I still have to sweep every couple of days because it sticks in my cat's paws. But the biggest thing is it keeps the odors down really well, and I'll continue to use this for my cat.

This litter is great. It really controls the ammonia smell that naturally occurs with cat urine. The fresh scent is great, and our cats don't seem to mind it being scented. It clumps well which makes it easy to scoop. It does track on the floor, but I haven't found any cat litter that doesn't track. There is a little bit of dust when I pour it in, but nothing major. I'd highly recommend this litter, especially for a family that has multiple cats.

This product arrived quickly and well packaged, no mess. This is the second time I've bought it. Needless to say, it works very well. I'm busy, so only scoop a couple times a week. I have never smelled a foul odor in my house! The price is right, and the smell is clean and continuous. I have used MANY different litters, this is one of my all time favorites. Highly recommend!

I do not like this litter as well as other Fresh Step litter. It is more like clay and I prefer litter that is more like gravel. However I am happy with Amazon's prompt delivery.

I initially tried Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter with Febreze Freshness (Mountain Spring scent) on its own, and I have to say, it's still a solid litter choice. The clumping is effective, making scooping easy, and the odor control is definitely noticeable. For the price (under $12 for 14 lbs!), it's a really good value.However, after experimenting with mixing it with Purina Tidy Cats, I've discovered a truly fantastic combination! While Fresh Step performs well independently, I've found that the blend of the two litters creates an even more powerful synergy for both clumping ability and odor control. The mixed litter seems to clump even firmer and the odor neutralization is just exceptional.So, while Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter is a good litter on its own and definitely gets the job done, I've personally found that mixing it with Purina Tidy Cats elevates its performance to another level, especially in a multi-cat household like mine (4 cats!). If you're looking for a cost-effective and reliable litter, Fresh Step is a great option, but consider trying a mix if you want to maximize clumping and odor control. Still a solid 4.5 stars!
