Schwarzkopf Color Ultime 1.4 Sapphire Black Hair Dye, Permanent Intense Black with Diamond Brilliance, Fade-Resistant, Covers Grays, All Hair Textures

This is a fantastic hair dye! It is very dark with just a hint of blue in the sunlight, giving you that animated black hair effect. The treatment is also magic and sealed up my split ends easily leaving my hair soft AND colored! The only issue I have is that the dye is very strong, in fact it gets on everything and stains everything. Droplets where you rinse your hair will leave blue stains on the floor and on the sink- unless you have a porcelain or marble I truly believe you are cooked although I had some success with nail polish remover (it will come of skin this way). That being said, it also sticks in your hair for weeks. I am on 3 weeks post dye and it looks like day 1. I am still leaving a blue residue in my bathtub when I shower despite it diluting but if you can accept the permanence it is worth it. In fact, I re-ordered a second box and am giving five stars for it delivering quality but I would be cautious especially if you are renting or planing a trip where your hair might get wet.

I’ve used Schwarzkopf Color Ultime 1.4 Sapphire Black a few times now, and I’m really happy with how my hair turns out. What I notice most is how shiny and vibrant my hair looks after coloring — it doesn’t come out dull or flat like some other dyes I’ve tried. This hair dye product worked wonderfully on my hair! I used this hair dye at home and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The color came out pretty close to what was shown in the photos. The instructions are easy to follow which made things less stressful. The smell was noticeable like most hair dyes but not overwhelming. Overall, beautiful color, last pretty long, and easy to use at home!

Some people prefer sprays like this to powders and I tend to agree. If you can find a color that closely matches your hair, this does a decent job covering up your grays for the day. The pump or spray isn't really fast, or at least not as fast as sprays I've used before. This isn't a huge deal but it's the primary reason it doesn't get 5 stars. It comes off fine with your normal shampoo and conditioner and I didn't notice any over the top smell to this or anything that made it overly obvious I added something to my hair.

I combined indigo royale and ultra deep violet to achieve the most beautiful blackish purple and it worked so wonderfully. I am a little nervous for the fading process because this is a permanent hair color, but I was tired of the semi-permanent colors fading so terribly over my brown roots. Half of my hair is natural brown and bottom half is med. blonde, so all my colors fade muddy. Anyways, this dye gave me a headache and stained my skin, so use coconut oil around your hairline and have good ventilation. I will report back with how it fades, but I am incredibly happy with these results so far. Below is a before and after. I used lunar tides a few months ago and it faded to an ashy color, was not happy. Arctic fox just bleeds like crazy and the black has blue undertones so I wasn't happy with that, made my hair look green. Hoping this will fade a warm brown but we will see! The conditioning treatment smells amazingggg btw. My hair doesn’t feel as soft anymore, but thats a risk I was willing to take for this color. Update: hair is starting to grow out, my roots are almost 1/2”, i have washed it 5 times, the bottom half of my hair is blonde underneath so its still blackish purple and the top is fading to a dark brown. I am happy with this product!

I was looking for a good black hair color and I bought this brand based off the good reviews I read about it. And honestly, I have to say, super duper pooper impressed with this dye! First 2 months the colour was so shiny and vibrant, and it's now been 3 months, almost 4, the colour has faded but it's such a pretty colour still, the fade is still nice and shiny and works for me. This brand is awesome for black, had to tell you :)

I only dyed it yesterday so I don't know how long it lasts but I love how shiny and soft this is! The scent was more pleasant than other boxed dyes I've tried. One box gave full coverage and turned out a beautiful shiny black that is slightly blue in natural light. I attached a picture of what my hair looked like before and after.

This hair dye has great coverage, and is one of my top fave box dye brands because of the quality and how long it lasts. I was looking for more of a true black colour and wasn't expecting this to have a blue tinge to it, lol. I had never tried this colour before and it's def growing on me but surprising all the same. I hope the Raven Black is back in stock soon :)

This brand is usually pretty good to use. I have used this before so, I knew what I was getting myself into. I already gotta do some touch ups but, yeah black hair is fire! Definitely a dye you gotta be careful with cause it will stain, transfer colour onto things like pillows, towels etc...
