Discovery Fabric Paint Set 45ml 10/Pkg-Setacolor Opaque

Please do not be put off by the bad packaging review. This is an excellent product and so easy to use. Most fabric paints require special treatment of the fabric before and after, but not this one. I use it to color muslin instead of dying it, simply because of the ease of use and the brilliant color. The instructions could just read paint your fabric, dry and iron on wrong side because that is all I do. The instructions however do say two parts water to one part paint but I use a 50/50 mix if I am creating a wall hanging. You may need a 25/75 mix if you are painting a really delicate fabric. Experiment on a little sample of your fabric to see what works best for you. I think you will love it, I do.

I have found these paints to be easy to use and great colors. I am making blocks for boys guilt....trucks, Cars, etc..easy to get a hard edge

Works great on dark fabrics. Beware using them on some materials as the fabric will just absorb the paint like a sponge. I used them on cotton and sweatshirts and they worked great. Ironing them on was easy and the colors survived the washing machine.

The coverage with these paints is great. Even when I used them on black fabric, the paint still showed up. It dries easily and does not flake off. On top of all that...I used a really good stain remover on a spot I dropped on the fabric outside the design area. The color would not be removed from the fabric...so I know itis permanent.

We have been ordering regularly this fabric paint and we have been very please with it until this time. This time the paint is thick lumpy and hard like an old paint and really hard to work with like if the paint got been left open I am very disapointed as I cannot finish my project.

This fabric paint was easy to work with and very durable; several layers were required on darker fabric, but even the lighter shades (yellow and white) showed up nicely with repeated paintings.

I ran an outdoor art activity painting canvas bags and this one box lasted for hours and painted nearly 70 bags.
