Bicycle Canasta Games Playing Cards

Canasta rules can vary. Some people play Canasta with 110 cards, 14 wild cards, 8 2s and 6 picture jokers, and allowing Canastas of wild cards only, with a score of 1,000 for such a Canasta. 110 cards allows for 2 wild card Canastas. This deck only has 4 picture jokers instead of 6. One has to use two of the advertisement cards to play with the wild card Canasta rules. Also, the cards only come in one backside color (red) but in 2 boxes. This means the cards have to be sorted by frontside instead of backside if you want a single deck (52-55 cards) instead of double deck when you want to play anything other than Canasta. The cards come in a simple paper box per deck, not a nice double deck box. The only positive side is that the cards have their values printed, which makes it easier to learn for beginners of Canasta. But remember, that's not really that important, the Canasta scores are quite easy (picture joker: 50; Ace, 2: 20; red 3: ±100; black 3: 5; 4-7: 5; 8-K: 10). After all, this was a disappointing, expensive product. At least the cards are ok, otherwise I'd have given only 1 star. I should've gone for a regular double set (1 blue, 1 red) of complete French cards (2×55).

+ Canasta-Kartendeck mit Punktangaben kann für einige Spieler hilfreich sein - Es gibt bessere Designs bei französischen Blatt (siehe Altenburger oder Piatnik) - Format passt nicht in die Kartenmischmaschine, lässt sich aber gut per Hand mischen (im Gegensatz zu Altenburger Karten mit Leinenstruktur) o Ein Altenburger Blatt mit Leinenstruktur scheint haltbarerer und hübscher bei geringeren Kosten zu sein.
