What is the ph of the purifying gel cleanser (blue bottle)?

This is not easy to locate. Looked at a couple of sites for you but did not find the ph. You might try contacting customer service on Neutrogena website.

Can you describe the "almond" scent? is it similar to the scent of almond extract used in cooking? I don't like that scent, it's really cloying,

I don't think it smells like almond at all. It has a very fresh, neutral scent.

How do I tell which one to get? I either have dry skin or normal/combination.

Get the one for dry skin but either would be fine.

Did the gel cleanser make anyone break out?

I purchased this one and the Hydroboost. This one did make my face breakout a bit. So I stick to the Hydroboost now.
