It did not last long. After a week, the red tube inside moves freely.

Our cute turtle pool thermometer is still working, accurate, readable and floating in our pool since July 2021! Although he is a little faded, he is still adorable! Will definitely buy one again when needed.

This little turtle guy is good for knowing the pool temperature. These tend to only last a summer or two before they need to be replaced due to the plastic cracking in the hot summer sun.

I'm infatuated with turtles, love them. And while I do love this little guy, key word, 'little'. He consonantly wants to make the skimmer basket his home. Which in turn stops the water flow and causes my pump to run dry. Now, simple solution: tie him up. Yes. Of course. He DID come with string! But stupid me thought he would be fine just bobbing around in the pool enjoying his best life so I tossed the string. Nope. No enjoying his best life when he irritates the husband because 'HE IS IN THE SKIMMER BASKET AGAIN!!!'... (LOL!! whoops...) So, our adorable little turtle is now on a leash because he can't be trusted to stay out of the basket. Overall, he does exactly what he should.. .user error caused him to be a trouble maker. But.. all is good now in the pool world. 4 stars because I wish he was a little bigger or heavier or something so I could have him floating around w/out getting sucked in. (and yes, that is petty on my part)

Such a cool little addition to my cold plunge tub! Very happy with the purchase and works great.

I love this thing. We keep it tied to the edge next to the ladder. Accidentally left it in pool all winter. It was fine.
