Darling star, cute smile, soft furry fabric. Baby loves it. However, the lights or wiring has issues. We have bought this 3 times. The first one's lights worked for about 5 or 6 months, flashing and changing colors for abt ten minutes. It was great for a bed time distraction. But then stopped working for no obvious reason. Baby was less than a year old, so it was not from rough play. It was just a part of her crib sleeping time. We couldnt return it at that point, so I purchased another one. Lights would go off after 10 seconds. I just got another replacement. The lights go on and off for 30 seconds, then they turn off completely, and it must be turned back on by pressing the 'on' button. They should stay on longer! So sad, because baby loves the pillow and its lights!!

My kids love this star, the best investment to help the kids fall asleep, or for their middle of the night wake ups. They feel safe and comfortable in the dark room with this star. We've been buying backups over the last 4 years, each two years the next version is better. Brighter lights, battery lasts longer, more velcro to keep the battery pack inside. This years edition seems perfect with no flaws.

My 4 year old got this for her birthday in July and loves it, sleeps with it every night and takes it with her on trips. It lasted 6 months on the same batteries with nightly use, but just stopped working suddenly today. Looks like a wire came loose and unable to reattach it so the light part is done, but she still wanted to sleep with it. Buying another one and hoping the wire issue is just a fluke! Nice and soft, cute and cuddly.

I purchased this light up star pillow for my 6 yr old Autistic son, who happens to love stars and things that light up. He loves it!! The pillow is SUPER soft, we all kept touching it and commenting how soft it was. The pillow does require 3 AA batteries, so make sure to purchase them. Battery pack is located in the bottom of the pillow...There is a velcro closure at the seam, making the battery pack pocket nearly invisible (yep! I couldnt find it at first! Lol!) but that is great for keeping curious kids out. The battery pack also has an "on" and "off" switch. To operate the pillow, make sure battery pack is switched on, then press the soft "on" button on the front of the pillow and watch your star light up brightly and beautifully! The colors change slowly. The pillow has a timer and will turn off on it's own, or you can press the soft "on" button again to turn off. This pillow is a hit! My 11 yr old daughter wants one, so I'm going to get her another style. Buy this! Your little one will LOVE it!

My daughter was going through a sleep regression, fighting me a bedtime, screaming when I laid her in her crib. Once I introduced this, she loves bedtime again! She can't wait to turn on her star. If she wakes up in the middle of the night, I just turn this back on and give her her binky and she'll lay back down again. Lifesaver!

I bought 2 of these for my great granddaughters. The 3 year old has monsters. The star keeps her safe. The 2 year old just loves on it. Very happy with this.

I bought a pink and a blue. The blue stopped working within a week. I opened it up and found one of the wires attached to the “on” button had fallen off one of the two prongs. I touched the wire to the prong and pressed the button and it lit up again. So I thought I could fix it by reattaching the wire to the prong. The other wire attached to the second prong fell off before I got a chance to work on it. I tried to place both wires back on the prongs but it wouldn’t turn on at all so I gave up. Now that I’ve read the reviews, I’m glad I failed. I would have probably started a fire. When I removed the lights from the pillow I saw that all of the LED lights are also very poorly attached to the wires. The whole thing needs to be resoldered, and even then I wouldn’t trust the battery pack given the other reviews. My son is really sad, he liked it a lot because he’s afraid of the dark. I also will have to remove the lights and battery pack from my daughter’s as I don’t trust it. She is going to throw a fit. It’s a cute pillow on his own. I might try to find a replacement for the lights Update: May 2025. I just randomly came across this old review and was curious if they ever fixed the issue. It is obvious they have not. I never got around to buying new lights for the pillows and I never found a product that would have worked half so well for my son. I was slightly shocked to see this product currently rated at 4 1/2 stars and the AI summary doesn’t even mention the wiring even though most reviews mention the lights stop working and you are lucky to get one that works even for a few months. If I ever needed proof that the scoring system on this site is absolute BS this is the perfect product to prove it. I read some of the 4 & 5 star reviews and they mostly have the same issues with the lights not lasting long and opening it up to find the wiring to the battery pack and the LED lights were poorly assembled. These 4-5 star reviews must have either been made as soon as they received it and they never updated their ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review score when it broke or something very fishy is going on. Not THAT many people could be giving this product 5 stars. Some look like real reviews but not real scoring. 5 stars for “do not buy”? I think someone or something else might be modifying the ⭐️ scoring of some of these reviews. The only other explanation is that half the buyers think 5 stars is the worst. Why would they take the time to write up their complaints yet still give it 5 stars? I don’t give 5 stars to anything unless it literally exceeds my expectations. Certainly not for anything that has defects. VERY FISHY, and now Amazon won’t let us use Fakespot anymore to weed out the fake reviews. EVERYTHING is given 4 1/2 stars and that makes the scoring system worthless. I never read the 5 star reviews anymore and just skim the 4 star ones to look for a few that seem like they could have been written by real people. I only trust in 1-3 star reviews on Amazon now. I know most 4 & 5 star reviews are fake, which is a shame for products that really are exceptional. They will never get the chance to stand out.

Got this for my 2 year old who suddenly didn't want to sleep and would shriek for 3 hours before bed and wake up screaming... for 5 weeks... then I got this pillow and she's down in 20 mins. I'm finally sleeping again and being a better parent. Two AA batteries needed. Doesn't get hot. Only problem... stops working after 4 months. Changed the batteries and it doesn't work anymore

Super cute and the lights aren't to bright just bright enough to be used as a comfort night light. Well made.
