Worked great for 2 weeks
Second update 10-20-2022: Daybetter just sent a second set of lights and these seem to work as they should. Easy to setup Wi-Fi and light scenes now work. The scheduler works like a charm and is nice to automate. Daybetter seems to stand by its products and they seemed concerned that I was a happy camper and had resolved in 3 Days. Thanks Daybetter! Update 10-17-2022: DayBetter just got with me and are sending out a new set. I will update my experience with the new set after I get setup again. I was really impressed that DayBetter contacted so quickly, maybe I should have just emailed the seller but Amazon said item could not be returned. I was really excited to get these and try out. We just purchased a new home and now have a man cave to decorate. Setup was easy and the adhesion was good. The bad thing about these lights is that they have no way to add another roll easy without splicing with a kit sold separately, and they should have a 4 prong female plug on each side with a 2 sided male to connect and should come with a 6 foot white extension cord so dont have to run lit lights up corner of wall. It took one roll to go half way around room, then I purchased a link kit and the other roll lit up ok. For a couple days! After a week the red started looking like pink a foot from where power connected then they started turning different colors even though I selected red. When selecting blue I got green, Blue and yellow which was strange. Another week went by and now they dont work at all. maybe the set was a bad one, I dont know but sucks to only have working for 2 weeks for 30 bucks and 10 bucks for link kit. I was expecting more as they looked better than most light sets. Live and learn while companies get rich off of defective toys...!

Great string of LED Lights
The DAYBETTER Smart Wifi LED Lights is a nice light strip. My 8 year old waited LED lights to go around the ceiling of his room. This stand of lights was long enough to go all the way around his small room and he loves them. They were very easy to install, they don't tangle while you're trying to hang them, which is a huge plus. The adhesive backing is plenty strong enough, and they work perfectly. They're easy to operate, ama they look really cool. They're a great price and quality. Recommend

good purchase
I bought these LED light strips to add some ambient lighting to my room, and overall they’ve been a good purchase. Setup was quick since they come with adhesive backing, and I had them up in a few minutes. The color options are great, and the remote makes it easy to switch between settings. The brightness is decent, though not as strong as I expected in larger spaces. The adhesive also started to loosen in a couple of spots after a while, so I had to reinforce it. For the price, they do what I needed!

Work great, good price
These lights look very nice, they stick pretty well on a clean smooth surface. They have a lot of colors, but no chasing or twinking scenes. We really like that there are three ways to control them - the remote, the phone app, and with Alexa or Google Home. We have Alexa, and it was a bit iffy at first. They need to be setup first in the Tuya app, and then linked to the Alexa app. It was bit tricky, the first time I linked them Alexa saw the lights but would not control them. Had to delete them, re-add them to our 2.4 Ghz only network, and then they linked and Alexa was able to control them. One small glitch, they don't work inside a group. Mine are in the Alexa group 'Mood lights' and the other devices work, but these don't. They only work with their own name, which I called 'Night lights', and they work fine that way. But these Night lights are in the 'Mood lights' group and they will not turn on/off with the rest of the lights in that group. Not a show stopper by any means, the lights overall look great and that they work with Alexa at this price point is a good deal.

Cheap remote
I had originally written a one star review based on the product I received. I would like to amend that review with a 5 star rating. Their customer service was too notch. They reacted to my review, they kept in contact the whole time we discussed the issues at hand, they offered a refund, but I wanted to keep the lights because they looked great, it was other issues that had caused the one star. They ended up sending me a replacement set, which I’m very happy to say has completely changed my opinion. The new set works great, connected right away to WiFi and Alexa unlike the first set. My family loves them in the family room and they really set the mood. So thank you for taking customer service to the next level.

Received replacement
Edit: seller reached out within 24hrs of my post. They offered a full refund or replacement. Since I’ve seen other great posts, and my daughter living the lights, I requested a replacement. It was the easiest and fastest process I’ve ever dealt with for any kind of replacement. The replacement was in the mail the very next day. So far so good. Bought these lights as Christmas present for my daughter in 2022. She had a few issues with parts of the light strip turning different colors, but didn’t feel it was a huge deal. It’s now October 2023 and the lights don’t even work. At first we thought it was the remote so we downloaded the app. We realized it wasn’t the remote after all. You can see the lights are very dim in the dark. I’ve tried everything and it appears they are just broken. I would have given this a 5 star when we first got them. Very easy to install and use. I give 1 star because we did enjoy them while they lasted, but they didn’t even last a full year.

Thankfully it was cheap
I have grown to like having the LED Light Strips in my room, while watching TV or gaming. When i got these, the reviews looked good so i took the chance. I really was looking forward to setting these up to be controlled by Alexa. Well, taken me 2 months to finally put them in place and will say that the stock photos of LED light strips, aren't these. Just as others have posted, you don't get the solid light, it's all the individual ones. Not enough of an issue to worry too much about. But the Bluetooth won't pair for nothing, The instructions say to Power on then Turn on-off-on-off-on. Tried that several times with no blinking. I tried this so many times. And on the product page, it says: "Hold the "ON" button on remote until the lights start flashing quickly (about 3-5 seconds)", that didn't work either. So as it seems, mine won't pair, thus NOT app controlled. As for the controller use, making sure the sensor is visible, it does seem slow to respond. Time will tell how well these actually work

They work but leave a lot to be desired
For the price, these are fine. They turn on, they change color, they stick to the wall. They work with Google voice (and I assume they would work with Alexa though I haven’t tried). If you just want them as a novelty and are willing to deal with some annoying things so that you can have cool lights, then these would be perfect for you. However, they leave a lot to be desired. The main problem is the default seems to be red. So if it disconnects from wifi, or if the power gets cut, or if it stops detecting music when it’s in music mode, then it’s solid red. When it’s connecting, it’s blinking red. It would be so much better if the default was white. Then I wouldn’t care so much if it was connected or not, because I’d just leave it on white. But the red is annoying. I have my lights connected to a light switch, so when I turn off the switch, it cuts power to them, and they often are red when I turn them on again. If my lights are on any of the pre-set patterns or music mode, then if I turn them off and back on, they’re red. They only retain the color they were when they got turned off if you use the remote. Which leads to the next problem. The remote sucks. I don’t ever want to use it. It’s hard to push the buttons, the colors aren’t accurate, there’s a delay, and you have to be pretty close to the receiver. I prefer to use the app or voice control through Google home, but the remote would be more useful than either of those if it worked better. Also, it has preset options that you can’t change. So you can hit “flash” and it will flash red, then if you hit it more times it will change the color that flashes, but you can’t change the pattern or speed of the flashing and you always have to go in the same order starting with red to get to the color you want. It’s not worth using the remote so I just make “scenes” in the app and use the app instead. The app is cool but I’m not going to connect all my other smart devices to it, so it ends up being an app that I have to have on my phone just for these lights. There are indeed a LOT of color options, but it’s not that easy to pick the exact color you want. You have to move your finger around and hope it lands where you wanted it, and it’s particularly hard to get any orange or yellow tones. You can get the color you want if you’re patient and keep trying, but it’s not super easy and what shows on the phone screen doesn’t match what the actual lights look like. Finally, music mode is cool but it sucks. The lights change but not necessarily in time with the music. Often in the middle of songs and between songs, the app stops detecting music and the lights just stay stuck on red until you go back into the app and restart it. And you can only access music mode through the app- not the remote or voice control. So, to recap, it’s a good novelty- impress your friends and have fun with it for a few days, but it’ll probably be not worth it and annoying after a couple weeks.
