The main meat is applicable to flute, clarinet but then the author takes the pain to insert some rags and blues which beg to played by a sax player. You learn the basics and best of all you hear a pro demonstrate the majority of its content. These books are a good investment to start any instrument. You never regret their cost. Review: Moves fast. - Great follow on from the first book. I choose this book for students who can learn fast. It moves fast but covers lots of techniques. Shame there isn't a tenor version.
