So simple to set up and easily produces a reliable straight line. Great for indoor and workshop use. I used it to set a line for two airbrick cowls in an exterior wall and found that the line became very pale by the time the unit was even 2m away from the wall - and this was with weak winter sun. So, worth the money, even with its limitations, but not the right tool for working outdoors where you need to cast a longer line.

Couldn’t be happier with this level. Super bright in the daylight, self levelling, great accuracy and small enough to keep in your tool bag. Great quality and much cheaper than other levels.

I just needed this for a quick levelling job, so did not want to spend a lot of money. when it arrived it felt like a good quality heavy tool, you also get a carry pouch really impressed. It came with 2 batteries so was in use straight away. Its a red laser it`s pretty bright and i was using it in bright light but the lines were clear. Cheap and cheerful just buy one. You will need a tripod though.

It's kind of ok, however it's really annoying having to get a tripod up to the height of where i want a horizontal line. It would be much better if I could angle it vertically from lower down and still know whether or not it's straight horizontally. I don't often carry around a 7 foot tripod.

I purchased this laser level as I do a lot of DIY around the house also very useful for hanging photos and pictures and making sure that everything is beautifully level. I’m happy to report that I haven’t had any issues with the self levelling, I have paired this up with a cheap photography tripod and as long as the level is within intolerance, the auto levelling device will work perfectly, if it’s too far out of plum the laser will flash and you can adjust the tripod accordingly. Very happy with the laser level, an easy five stars.

I used this to hang an array of pictures. I needed to establish a center line and would normally require a plumb bob. But with this tool it was pretty much automatic with the cross hairs being plumb and level all at once. I did eventually mount this on a camera tripod to get my multiple rows of pictures lined up. The self level feature of this unit is nice and made things quick. The instructions were a bit confusing but I was able to figure it out. Using the lower sliding switch to turn it on puts it in automatic leveling mode. If the laser is flashing it’s telling you it is beyond the range of auto leveling and the top button will turn red instead of green. If you want to use it manually to cast perpendicular lines without the automatic leveling feature you leave the lower slide switch in the off position and press the top button for 3 seconds and the laser beams will turn on in a fixed position where you can angle the cross beams as you see fit for your use. Hold it another 3 seconds to turn it off. Pretty simply and easy to see beams when not in direct sunlight. Really like it’s function and a nice price.
