Does the Job for a Great Price
This cable was exactly what I needed, and does the job perfectly. I've always had issues with cheap USB 3 cables. If not properly shielded, they can interfere with wireless keyboards and mice, and cause all sorts of troubleshooting headaches. This StarTech cable is absolutely not one of those low-quality cables. I've had no issues at all with this cable. It worked right away and I was able to get full USB 3.0 speeds out of it. I haven't noticed any interference, either. Overall a painless setup and I can see this cable giving many years of trouble-free service. StarTech has been my go-to brand whenever I need a cable--and for good reason. Every single cable I've purchased from them has been top quality, every item is meticulously documented with its own datasheet (just look up the model number on their website), and their warranty is fantastic. This USB cable is no exception.

Better than the included cable on my USB Drive
I was getting error faults with a new USB hard drive case. I installed this cable and all errors disappeared.

wont shock you and is 10000% better than whatever came with the other thing you purchased.
A similar cable that came with my disc-drive enclosure (for turning internal drives into external usb drives) would shock me for a minute after it was take out and then just stop. Well, this new one here does not have that problem at all! I would say, even if something comes with a cable or some sort - get more - the ones being put into the box with your products is literally the cheapest crap you can find - do you want the cheapest crap? I don't - so I got this cable!

No issues, worked as expected
It's a cable that fit my need for length and USB3.0, it's worked as expected, so no reason not to give it 5 stars

This helped solve my USB 3 issues.
I'd been having issues with USB 3.0 on my desktop computer. I had an inexpensive 3.0 hub with an attached pigtail, and a USB 3.0 A-A extension. It worked part of the time, and the rest of the time it failed pretty miserably: 2.0 devices always worked, but 3.0 devices would fail after a few minutes of high-speed data transfer. I used this cable along with a 7-port Anker powered hub. It works great. Now I have reliable connectivity on my desk for USB 3.0 devices without crawling around to the back of the computer to plug them in. I picked this cable from the sea of others based on its features: Mostly, lack of braided covering (which cannot help with reliability, but must always add unneeded expense) and large diameter (which either means more copper or more insulation, both of which are fine). I don't detect anything wrong with this combination.

Critical Role;
Being able to choose a cable that is very low length decreases latency for my entire hard drive dock. Critical role in decreasing lag, I have noticed a weird timing speed boost going from a 6 foot cable to a 3 foot cable, and I can't tell if I had another with one foot, but it certainly hasn't hurt. Also, the less lengthy of cable to less electrical efficiency lost due to loss-into-interference, and the less distance and volume for the cable to receive interference. Really happy with this company and their often prompt shipping and niche components, a true blessing in the tech world.

Yup, it works
I have a whole bunch of things that I had to pull off a shelf and plug in every time I needed to use them. I ran this cable across my desk and up the wall to a usb3.0 hub I put on the shelf. 10ft was barely enough. I was hoping for only halfway decent speeds because of the length. I found I can plug in a sata to usb3.0 to the hub and get full speed read/write off the hdd. I'd call that a success. Runs perfectly keeping everything on the shelf plugged in all the time now.

Good USB 3.0 cable at an OK price
I have a USB 3.0 cable that came with my USB 3.0 hub, but after setting up my computer I saw that the cable wasn’t long enough. Instead of getting an extension cable I wanted to get a cable that was the correct length, and after looking at what was available I purchased one of these 10' cables. The cable is printed with USB 3.0 (which is good) and 28 AWG (the power/ground wires could be thicker but still in spec, the other wires are good and easily in spec). As shown in the pictures the connectors have interior blue edges (the standard for USB 3.0 cables), and the cable was shipped with plastic end caps for protection (nice touch). The discounted price is OK. I tried the cable with my 3.0 hub and a 3.0 flash drive and ran some speed tests and saw no change (which is good).
