Senseless seal - otherwise the product does what it supposed to do.
Used it for nixtamalization. Does what it supposed to do. However: the bag has a reusable zip - but the seal is below this reusable closure. Hence it is not usable. Flaw in design of the bag. Otherwise - the content is as expected.

Pickling lime highly recommended. I use it for water glassing eggs. I used 1 oz to quart of water. Mixed until diluted thoroughly. Poured over clean unwashed eggs. Does as it should.

Used in the garden for sun protection.
I used this product as a food-safe "white wash" to help protect the trunk and branches of my fruit trees from sun scald. The advise to use pickling lime for this purpose was from a few Youtube gardening videos. It worked okay for the season and will need reapplication. The IV Organics tree protector applies thicker and has other ingredients, not just the lime, but it is very expensive. The pickling lime is a budget friendly alternative.
