Perfect Value!
There are soo many scopes to choose from from every different price point, it can be very challenging for those of us budgeting our "toys", while trying to secure great products. This is definitely one of my biggest finds! I got lucky and Amazon had a used one for $56, it said "like new" so I crossed my fingers and purchased it hoping there were no blemishes that would make me regret my decision. I received my scope 5 days later (free shipping) and ECSTATIC to see the scope was brand new and looked as if I were the first one to ever handle it. I mounted this on a 20" Stainless Steel .556 Bull Barrel and unleashed over 200 rounds on it's first day out. It zeroed within 5 shots (it was windy) and stayed true all day. I had 1-2 inch groupings with cross winds from 100 yards. The windage and elevation adjustments are easy to use and turn. The magnification was spectacular and the image was big and crisp. This is my 3rd Barska product, and I am sold on their craftmanship and quality. If you want a superb long scope with great magnification and clarity without dropping hundreds of dollars, this is the scope for you. Now I can buy another AR15 with the money I didn't spend on an expensive brand.

Not useful as an aiming device on an accurate pistol or rifle
The Barska 2 x 30 Red Dot Scope AC11090 looks good and has built-in mounts for Weaver style rail. It is compact in comparison to an optical scope. It is inexpensive. Unfortunately the parallax is so severe that moving the eye from one side of the field of view to the other shifts the POA (point of aim) more than 12 inches at 10 yards. The optics have obvious distortion and little magnification. I find open sights to be superior to this scope. I am therefore reluctantly requesting authorization to return it for a refund. (It may be suitable for an airsoft device.)

Low cost for new shooter, or training.
Purchased this scope for a shooter learning silhouette discipline. The scope is good for what you pay for it, the target dot gives the eye a focus point for quick acquisition of the target and an easy focal point. The 8-32 power is subjective, it's not high quality clarity once you reach 24 or 28 power. Our shooters have been using 24 power at 100 yards for target 6.5". Pros: adjustable objective for fixed yardage for competitions, gives shooters easy eye focus with target dot, cross hairs are thin, target turrets are easy to read with definitive detents for adjustments. Cons: power over 24 becomes cloudy and not really usable, but 24 power is plenty at 100 yards, not the best clarity compared to top brands (leupold/weaver ect), but it's a great starter scope.

Great dot for the money but
Great 2x red dot sight. mounted easily and stayed true. was abused by a 44mag and no problems BUT I had to move to a different dot due to parallax error. if you want a dead on, find the red dot and shoot AND hit what you aimed at this red dot may not be for you. better to find a dot with less parallax error.

it is one of the best bang for the buck scopes in the firearms world
The only thing cheap about this scope is the price. As far as quality is concerned, this is a very well built scope and at a price point of around $100, it is one of the best bang for the buck scopes in the firearms world. I installed this scope on a Savage Arms, model 93 HMR17. Right out of the box this scope was impressive and it just keeps amazing me every time I fire the rifle. It installed very easily using AccuShot premium one inch weaver style see through rings. The elevation and windage adjustment clicks are crisp and have a very positive feel to them. After about 10 shots to sight in the scope, it was good to go. By the end of the day, we had the rifle and scope combo shooting 1/2 MOA groupings at 100 yards. Dialed up to full 40x magnification at 100 yards, there is no distortion and the holes in the paper are EASILY seen. I cannot wait until we get the chance to try it out at 300 yards plus. This caliber rifle has very little recoil, and the scope has no problem holding zero. This is by far the best scope for the money you can buy. If you have a smaller caliber rifle that you need a scope for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Good scope for the money, but not a premium, clear scope
This scope is nice, but be aware that it is not very bright or clear out past the 20 power setting. In low light conditions, you will have to use it under 20 power, or have good eyes that can see in darkness. Overall, I'd recommend the scope to anyone that is using it during bright daylight hours or for bright targets, but not for serious hunters/bench shooters.

A lot of bang for your buck, no pun intended {:>)
I recently purchased this scope to mount on a Mossberg Patriot .243 The patriot came with weaver mounts installed and I found I needed the medium height rings for clearance. The first thing I was totally sold on was the reticle focus feature and the second was the eye relief. I am left eye dominant but am a right hand shooter and this is the first scope I have owned where I can look through it with ease I am actually fable to leave my left eye open with out losing my objective in the scope something I have never been able to do before. The reticle is sharp and clear. I did try the red, blue and green lighted feature in nearly dark conditions and the glow and halo in the objective end is gosh awful but who is realistically going to be hunting in near dark conditions. In the day light under different colors of targets I can see where on occasion the illuminated reticle can be a plus. For the money this is a quality scope and Barska is proving they are going to be a major player in the hunting optics field. Oh the flip up eyepieces are cheesy but then I never have like them.

Better than good, Good enough
Good value for the price, only thing I didn't like was that the manual says you can 0 the adjustment knobs after zeroing scope but then you can't lock the caps
