Easy connection and works great! The app is unexciting in a good way. Setup is straight forward and I haven't had to mess with it since...it just does what it's supposed to do.

1) to the revire where back up camera view upside down-the installer installed the camera upside down! 2) on download/playback it buffers- the phone you bought processor is of low quality or old-or- you pay for the cheapest speed on phone or home internet. Get better equipment & faster speeds next time. . You get what you pay for. On my iPhone late model pro playback is better than great-same with home internet. This Alpine model is FANTASTIC. The clarity of the videos couldn’t be any better. You can tell who the people are on the sidewalks its that clear.

I'm thankful for this camera because it did EXACTLY what it's supposed to. I was hit on the highway and the video from this Alpine camera helped make the case that I was not at fault. It recorded several seconds before the impact and the video was accessed later on the SD card. When you access the files in the SD card they are divided into various categories with easy to follow names - very convenient. I like that it's slim and doesn't take up a lot of space on the front windshield (and rear windshield is even smaller). I also like that if something happens that you want to record you can press a REC button and it'll start recording from several seconds before you pressed the button. Can't say enough GREAT things about this camera and its simplicity. What a shame to see other low ratings because it's worked wonders for me.

Pretty easy to use and is small , does not block drivers view. Recording quality great. Wifi playback of forward camera has problems with freezing when played back on iphones. Installer reproduced same problem on their phone. And yet again on a different c310r. Alpine denies there is a problem. Maybe we were just really unlucky. I’ll just have to remove disk and playback on PC. That works just fine. One very odd thing. This is not a back up camera system yet the rear camera image is inverted and there is no option to correct that.

I bought mine through my local dealership. 1. lenses aren't Polarized. So, if the sun is up, video is completely white glare. I tried installing a polarized lens on it, with no effect. 2. Wifi connection is difficult and sometimes impossible. If your vehicle has wifi, your vehicle must be turned off completely and you cannot be near any other wifi you connect to. At the end of the day, AVOID wasting your money on this dashcam.
