Used three in series to make a lifting eye with 6mm wire rope. In my case they performed perfectly in the lifting of a 300kg load. Obviously there is no proof of their load bearing capacity but for my purpose they worked fine

But that was me being a plank. Well made, functional and while a bit fiddly do work well

Very nice little clamps but doing the nuts up is very fiddly because you can only do about a quarter of a turn as a time with a standard spanner so I bought a small tubular spanner and filed the end down slightly so I can quickly and easily tighten the nuts up without the spanner fowling the adjacent nut so it would be very useful if the manufacturer could include a small tubular spanner with these clamps

Rough finish compared to the items pictured and metal is of questionable purity. The threading is uneven, fiddly and easy to strip as others have stated elsewhere. However, if you take your time and only want the clamps finger-tight then they will work. I used these to fasten a temporary fence line made out of plastic post markers and a wire-cored washing line - very lightweight materials. There is absolutely no way I would trust the weight/tension rating on these to secure anything heavier than that.
