How easy is it to remove the Sonos speakers from the mount? I want to use them outside, but obviously don't want to leave them there permanently?

Pictures don't show the back side of the bracket. Do the brackets allow access to the ethernet port on the back of the speakers?

I have the Sonos Play 1 mounted on it and yes there is a square hole just below the mount that allows access to the ethernet port.

Will these work with yamaha ns-b40 speakers? they go with the yamaha yht-4930ubl home theater system.

Work fine with Sonos speakers, but have no idea about Yamaha.

What's the diameter of the notch? I'm trying to feed my wire thriugh it and into the drywall to bury it and want to cover it with a grommet.

If I understand your question, I encourage you to check with your local building codes. I can’t imagine any electrical code that would allow the Sonos electrical cord to be burried behind drywall.
