Stringing a Recurve bow without a stringer can jeopardize the straightness of your limbs. Features an extra-large Cardura limb cup for protection against twisting and a nonslip rubber limb block for depressing the Limb. Make stringing your Recurve quick, safe and easy. 1 pair per package. Review: Best bow stringer I've ever purchased - I've been involved in archery since 1979, and this is by far my favorite bow stringer. This is actually the second one I've purchased, because my original one is at home and I need one to take with me overseas. I considered taking my original one, but the quality you receive for the price just made it easy to buy a second one. You can never go wrong when you back up your gear; and if it's something you use all the time, then there is even more reason. This gear makes stringing my bows easy, safe, and quick. Whoever designed this thing is obviously an archer, because I cannot find anything negative about it. The absolute right tool for the job. It is designed for use with any size person, and even a novice will have no trouble employing it. Gives weak persons the ability to easily and safely string a bow. I LOVE this thing!!! Review: Works with multiple bows - I saw this stringer was used for recurve specifically and it does work exceptionally well on my 40ish # recurve bow. However, it also works great for my 30lb long bow. Both are around 60โ length. Very very easy to use, can literally string and unstring bows in a couple minutes by yourself. Must have tool for archers. If you are on the fence, send it.

This is the best bow stringer I have ever used
This stringer works great, plain and simple. I have bought two of these so far. One lives in my archery bag, the other I keep with my archery supplies at home. I shoot both traditional barebow and olympic recurve, and this stringer works like a gem with both kinds of bows, at draw weights ranging from 30 to 60 lbs without any issue.

Possibly the best and easiest bow stringer you could get.
Personally I think its probably the best and most safe style stringer out there. Its well constructed and easy to use. The bottom sleeve is made out of thick nylon style material and is well stitched together. The areas that might get the most 'stress' when being used are double stitched. The top limb 'boot' is made from rubber that grips and conforms to the curvature of the back/belly side of the top limb. The rope is black paracord which I personally think is the perfect material to use. If for some reason you abuse the string and it wears in areas (possibly where you step on it) then it can easily be replace with some more. Its one of those products that could last a long time if taken care of properly. I also like that after I wrap the cord around the nylon sleeve I can then take the rubber boot part and tuck it up into the pocket and it holds the whole thing together and wrapped up.

Bowstringer that works but could use a few improvements.
Nice made and inexpensive bow stringer. It does the job and saves the back from danger. The instructions could be confusing for someone new to bow stringing, but if you have YouTube it really is a non issue. Just go watch a video of someone stringing a recurve and do it like they do, unless of course they are idiots or making comedy videos. The pocket of this one is a little snug on some of my recurve bows so be aware that it may not work on all designs. The chord that this comes with will serve well if taken care of, but will not withstand a lot of outdoor use and abuse. But it's easy to replace with good quality Para chord of your own.

Works great!
This bow stringer makes stringing a bow super easy! I'm new to archery and had never strung a bow before. This tool make it so easy. My brother was also able to string his bow for the first time with this tool. Well worth the money!

Best bow stringers I have found
I have been shooting bows since I was a kid and I have been making longbows and recurve bows for nearly 20 years. I love these stringers because they are easier for people new to the sport to consitently string their bows safely and because they put less stress on the limbs and limb tips. I send em out to my customers with all my new bows. These do not last forever. If you shoot once a week then you can expect to replace these every 6-12 months. You will know when because the paracord will start to fray. If you see that DO NOT TRY TO USE. If the paracord breaks while under tension during stringing you could break the bow or find a bow limb to be a new part of your anatomy. That sounds bad but any stringer has it's limits and its life and you need to recognize when those are over. Use it as intended and these are great stringers.

easy to use, I feel safe with it
ALOT better than the POS one I get with my bow. The tough nylon end fits securely and the rubber stopper is non-slip on my limb. Sure you can string your bow the old fashion way, but it scares the bee-jeezus out of me and safety first. the stopper actually proves very useful. 1. i loop the big part of the string on the limb, then slide it down the limb. 2. Then i loop the smaller end on the other side and put it into position. 3. Place the nylon sleeve over that end and loop the rubber stopper end over the other limb... 4. Place the stopper move downstreem from the string( toward your grip) and slide the string up as far as it goes followed by the stopper. 5. wide stance, step on the stringer string, pull, loop the big loop on carefully. 6. check the other end...now slowly release and drop the bow back. VIOLA done.
