Did it leave a black mark on your bridge?

Generally these do not leave much, if anything, on the bridge. However, I have not been using this because it still smells horrible (like a fossil fuel) even months after buying it. It's worth spending more on an Artino Practice mute - better muting (rubber covered metal) and no smell!
