Will this rust in a swimming pool environment?

It is constructed of powder-coated zinc. Zinc will rust period, not just in a pool setting. Exposure to moisture in the air will cause oxidation. This type is for indoors. Look for stainless steel.

Will this be returnable? I can see the dimensions but I still feel like it's different once it's built. Our storage has a small opening

I have no idea why my son has so many basketballs, but we do. We tried storing them in a rubbermaid container but they would inevitably fall out all over the garage. This rack is exactly what we needed. It's not a heavy duty NBA ball rack. But once assembled, it's pretty stable (it's not flexing or anything). We have 10 basketballs on it and then put 2-3 footballs on it as well. I waited after 2 months of use to write this review to make sure it worked the way we wanted and that there were no issues. Garage organized -- problem solved.
