Solid lock and as advertised. Be conscience of the internal lock dimensions before buying any lock. The opening was smaller than I wanted and a tight fit for a bike and bike stand. I wish I bought a larger size. .

Not only will it fit on your pants, It also comes with the bottle holder mount which is awesome too. BUT because of the way the mount is on this lock you can also click it into your rear bike rack. It locks VERY securely and it short enough that it stays away from your tire and spokes. This thing is legit diamond rated like the other reviewer said. I really love this lock. 3 keys, a nice light mount if you have the water bottle frame mount space (I dont). Good to know they made the lock so it would lock securely on your bike rack too.

This lock is on the small side but I knew that going in. The unit seems very sturdy but I haven't tried an angle grinder so I don't know how it would stand up. I do feel confident trusting my ebike to this for a few hours.

First this lock is Diamond Rated. For people saying false advertising because that package arrives and it says gold, the diamond rating was only created in Dec. 2022. Google diamond rated bike locks and you will find an official list. Takes time to update packaging etc. With that said, this lock, almost no lock, is 100%. The diamond rating criteria is 5 minutes to break the lock using all sort of tools. Gold rating is also 5 but with a limited number of tools being used. Diamond adds higher priced, higher caliber tools. I bought two of these for my kid to take to school to lock up her bike. Main goal is to make the bike next to hers look like an easier steal. If someone really wants her beater bike, they will get it despite the locks. In researched locks for hours and watched youtube videos. The Hiplock DX seemed to be the best price/value. There were some other locks in the same price range but I read about issues with keys. The Hiplock DX had no such complaints, in fact people liked the key system. Time will tell. Again, I spent $75 on a beater bike for her, gave it a tune-up, and then spent $200 on locks! PS - I also read this seemed to be the best heavy duty lock with a mount to carry it with her on her bike. Others had mounts but people complained about them.

Great bang for buck. Both hip wearable or option with bike tube frame holder to tube on bottle cage mount. 3 keys, key stay in lock when open. Hardened Shackle 14mm thick with sleeve 17mm. Non twist meaning must make two cuts on shackle. Used along with 12mm steel 4' cable to secure wheels. Lock shackled is big enough to shackle one wheel and frame tube to stanionery post. Lock is dx with additional tube mount. Lock hole has weather cover flap. Good weight

I first saw this lock system on a “London Eats” video on YouTube. He has it mounted on a Himiway Zebra D5 like my bike, it works for him and I knew it would work for me as well. Sure enough, it’s a great lock & the mounting system is very clever and works great! 5⭐️

This is an “okay” bike lock, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. Everything on the lock feels a bit cheap. Most annoyingly, the lockup is really loose so, when it’s mounted to the frame, it rattles on every bump I ride over. The keys had sharp unfinished molding lines along the edges. Not what I expected for the price. Also note that the lock is pretty small. Depending on the bike rack, it can be a little difficult getting it around the bike and the rack.

I've had bike thieves try and cut through this lock twice now. The second time, it looked like they put quite a lot of effort in before giving up.

Tres résistant. Cependant j’ai choisi ce modèle pour le système de fixation au velo et il vient de se casser car en plastique tres fragile. C’est très dommage car le cadenas est tres bien, il a résisté a une tentative d'effraction. Il faudrait renforcer la solidité du support. Par contre les pinces ppur accrocher le cadenas a la ceinture je trouve ca inutile en pratique et gênent quand on essaie de le fermer mais vous pouvez les devisser si besoin.

After looking all over online for the most ideal, secure and convenient to transport lock around for me electric scooter I finally settled on the Hiplok as the number one option. For it's protection rating which has been updated to the highest level of Diamond rating by Sold Secure, this makes the lock stand out from any other lock in its price range and many more expensive options too, and I have to say the lock is very robust and has a good, heavy (but not too heavy) weight to it suggesting high quality construction and strong and hard materials used to produce it. I was looking in particular for a lock that was both easily carryable and transportable, and for which I would not have to attach to a bracket on the frame of my e-scooter. I needed a lock that could either fit in my pocket, or I could carry on my body without it being obstructive so that I would not have to carry a bag around all the time to hold it, and at the same time having a very high level of security and strength in order to effectively prevent theft. Hiplok ticks all the right boxes. No longer do I need to have a U-lock clanging around recklessly on my handlebars and now I can just attach the Hiplok to my waistband in even just a t shirt and pair of shorts to go to a quick trip to the supermarket or cafe without having to take my scooter in with me so that it doesn't get knicked. I was considering the masterlock street cuff as it would fit in a jacket pocket but that only has a low Sold Secure rating of bronze and there are numerous videos and reviews around showing it's weaknesses and lack of resistance to breaking from a determined thief with the right tools. Hiplok on the other hand is made out of a high-strength and hardness, hardened steel and has a high-security locking mechanism to prevent lockpicking or smashing, which I can say as of a few weeks of use I have had no issue with unlocking and locking with the key and the mechanism works very smoothly. The Hiplok attaches very securely and well over the waistband, and does not cause any discomfort when riding nor will it fall off or move about. All in all I am very impressed with this lock and I am confident that I will use it to a high level of satisfaction for a very long time.
