Yes! After trying multiple flea & tick medication, my dog wasn’t getting any better...took her to the vet & she stated that the over the counter flea & tick medication isn’t effective since it’s been on the market for some time, the fleas have evolved & aren’t responding to the meds. Plus she said this season has been the worst so that doesn’t help either!!! Take them to the vet, my dog now is flea/tick free

you have to buy the frontline plus for 80-120 lbs dogs. yes then that woulkd work for preventing ticks , fleas from infecting your dog. ask your vet if any doubts.
