Poor design lets these down
These have completely restored my old AnySharp sharpener, and it works like new again. However, they are designed so that you can use them only one way, which adds to the costs and environmental impact. There is no reason they cannot be reversible, thereby doubling their life, and this is just a manufacturer's tactic to make more money. They work, but are poorly designed and expensive.
