The Aurora Band, Night Roller

It broke when I started wrapping my sections around it as you have to pull it away from your head to make a gap so you can wrap your hair. The Velcro is a HORRIBLE AND TERRIBLE idea. It wasn't even on my head for more than 30 seconds and after it broke it was already a nightmare to get my hair out in one piece and my husband had to come help me. I can't imagine if this was left in overnight bc it would have been a horrible tangled mess as when you pull on wrapped hair that's in Velcro it just gets tighter and more embedded within the material. I wouldn't recommend this product and if I could give this a one star rating I would. SOOOOO GLAD it broke bc I think tomorrow morning I would have had to shave my head. Both thumbs DOWN.

Oh my goodness, I love this product. I am a working mom and have no time to sit and curl my hair. Ever. I usually just blow dry and run a straightener through the ends, when I have time. When I'm feeling lazy, I use this. I don't even have to blow dry my hair all the way, I wrap it around the band and go to bed. It doesn't bother me when I sleep, I wouldn't use it if it did. It's easy for me to take out in the morning, I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I get great curls and volume, and lots of compliments. It cracks me up because it's my lazy way out of fixing my hair. Thank goodness for this product. I would recommend viewing the youtube videos that demonstrate its use, this will make it much easier.

it is very hard to get out of my hair in the morning, also I have very thick hair and it really does not curl the back of my hair very well. other than getting it out of my hair the product works well.

I am still working on the technique. I have gotten much better at rolling (I have a topsy tail to help with the small ends). It does give decent curl, but I find that my hair doesn't dry completely most nights. I have to use the blow dryer to ensure that it gets dried. Now taking this out is a little more complicated. There are written instructions, as well as videos you can watch. But it definitely takes some practice. I keep getting the velcro stuck right at the end as I and trying to pull it down off my head. I think part of the problem is just the length of my hair. With practice, I think that this will be a great addition to my hair regimen.

Was not impressed with this item.. It has the same texture as old school curlers, but since you wrap you hair all the way around it it's difficult to get off. My hair was stuck in the morning and once I did actually get it out it wasn't curly at all, It was instead a frizzy, kinked, wavy mess.. However because of "the nature of the item" I can't even get a refund due to it being junk since it's been opened and used..

Absolutely horrible! And I mean horrible product!!! Maybe on shorter hair you'd have luck but it was a DISASTER! I should've known better than to put Velcro in LONG hair! What was I thinking!!! My head was a ball of frizz and rats.....horrible....by the time I actually got the stupid thing out of my head I looked like I had stuck my finger in a light socket and there was no curls to be had!! This band went right into the garbage can as I will NEVER and I mean NEVER put this in my head again!!! Save your self some money and TIME (cause by the time you get this monsterous thing out of your head you could've used a curling iron and had beautiful curls) and DONT BUY THIS!

Easy to use and gives great curls and waves in the hair.

Not a huge fan. If you have someone doing your roll for you. It would work exactly as described. But when you are doing it yourself...danger of crisscross. In the morning I had a mess trying to get it loose. I have the generic version and love it. Smaller in diameter. I decided to try the original. Long story short. I altered it. Removed the velcro strip. Happy as a lark now.

Ich habe die teilweise verhaltenen Rezensionen gelesen, aber gedacht, ich probiere es mal aus. Und es funktioniert wirklich. Allerdings kann ich mir vorstellen, dass es bei längeren Haaren und/oder zu klebrigen Stylingprodukten schwierig wird und zu den von den anderen beschriebenen Problemen kommt. Ich habe sehr feine, weiche Haare, zwischen Nacken und Schulterlang. Ich sprühe nur etwas leave-in-Conditioner ins Haar (wenig) und drehe eher dicke Strähnen, das ganze ist so ca. nach 2 Min. erledigt - also kein Aufwand. Trotzdem, dass ich sehr unruhig schlafe, hälte die ganze Chose bis morgens. Und es sind dann nette Wellen, keine Kringellocken (dazu müsste ich dünnere Strähnen zwirbeln), genau wie ich es mag. Bei eher kürzeren Haare eine klare Empfehlung!

Spedizione rapidissima. Fascia non semplicissima da usare come sembra. Arrotolare i capelli non è semplicissimo se lo si fa da soli. Risultato carino, è che rimane per uno- due giorni.

Il y a du velcro tout autour du bandeau ce qui fait des nœuds et accroche énormément les cheveux... Ça rend le produit complètement inutilisable voir même dangereux ! Je ne comprend pas pourquoi avoir mis du ''scratch'' ! Ne gâchez pas votre argent la dedans

So I read the reviews on this item and found a lot of bad reviews but a lot of them being about how difficult it was to use and I thought "I'm sure it takes a few times to get used to it, I'm going to buy it anyway." So I bought it. It isn't difficult to wrap your hair around it. The problem is unwrapping your hair. Trying to unwrap it from the Velcro causes it to frizz and pulls out any curl that was there. It left my hair frizzy with a hint of a wave and looking like bedhead -- definitely not the look I was going for or the look that was advertised. It was a look I could've gotten for free just by just leaving my hair down over night. In the morning I had to spend time untangling my hair from this band and trying to tame the frizz and style it so I looked presentable. Long story short I would not recommend this to anyone as I've found it to be a complete waste of money.

I was very sceptical about buying this after reading all the other reviews about it getting stuck in people's hair, making hair knotty etc - but I figured it wasn't too expensive to give it a shot. This took me literally 3 minutes tops to put in before bed I blow dried my hair roughly until it was only slightly damp, because I have quite thick hair and I didn't want to wake up with it still wet- I was very careful to follow the instructions I made sure I left a gap at the back of the band for easy unwinding in the morning - it was very easy to get out - as long as your follow the instructions correctly! I can imagine people would get into a knot if they tried to unwind each piece of hair separately before moving onto the other, but this isn't what the instructions say!! I made sure I only undid my hair starting from the back from the non-Velcro part of the band, so the hair was still all stuck to the Velcro, but the bits that were winded underneath on the non-Velcro bit were the only bits I pulled loose - then, as per the instructions, I lifted the band upwards off my head and all my hair came loose at the same time with absolutely no pain or issues. it was great! My hair was super bouncy (perhaps a little too bouncy, as my hair is quite thick and perhaps a bit too short for the product to work at its best) but I couldn't believe the effects I got from spending 3 mins on my hair before I went to bed and 30 seconds on my hair in the morning - no heat, no products. if you're worried about the negative reviews like I was I'd say still give it a go, just make sure you take it out how the instructions say, when I was initially putting the band in, I did the first loop a bit messy so I took it out and started again - pulling my hair out the Velcro was painful but if you lift the band up and away from the hair the hair comes loose. the only issue I did have was getting to sleep initially, but I'm a ridiculously light sleeper - and once I managed to get to sleep, I actually found the band really comfy and quite a nice support. I got this band the day after I ordered it, so the delivery service was amazing. I will be recommending this to all of my friends! I absolutely love it.
