These blades compare favorably with the X-Acto blade I removed. They are sharp and work as expected. And THANKS for manufacturing them in the USA!

The main bevel is longer than an X-Acto #18, about 15 degrees. There's a secondary bevel and a back bevel, so the actual edge is two-sided and not as delicate as it looks. I use them for scraping, which takes the edge off pretty fast, but it doesn't chip, just rounds over. Shaves nicely when sharp. Does not break easily.

Great blades, not flimsy at all. I use them to sharpen pastel pencils and they do a great job. They come very sharp in a handy plastic container. Highly recommend.

I like to restore old houses and part of that involves getting down to the point of using an Xacto knife to carefully get under old layers of paint, and this took is perfect for both getting under edges and for acting like a small chisel. Great for finding out original paint colors or even just cleaning bits of gunk out of old corners (the square shape is better than an angled one for this).
