Great tool for HAMS that like to experiment.
Great construction and performs like it should. Easy to install and a necessary tool for HAMS that like to experiment.

A decent acceptable piece of equipment for any ham shack
Not quite perfect 50 ohms but close enough. SWR across most of the frequency range for extra class is 1.1 to 1. Reactants and inductance was pretty close to norm. It seems to work just fine. I would guess it's underrated in terms of power, that is you can hit it with more power than it is advertised for before it begins to get warm.

Time Saver!
A real Time Saver in the shop that takes the guesswork out of the equation. Quality seems good and it performs as expected.

Dummy load
Works good in my surecom sw-102

Works fine. UHF has little higher swr
This load worked pretty well over wide range. The load resistance was about 49 ohms in most of HF and VHF range, it dropped little bit over 400Mhz. In entire HF and VHF it gave a SWR <1.1. At about 200Mhz SWR reached 1.2 and went little further over 500Mhz. I used the Nano VNA H4 for sweep and also a VHF/UHF transceiver. Nano VNA uses harmonics over over 300Mhz, so not sure if that added to the higher swr. Overall a very usable load for most part. I did not test it over 20W.

Works great for GMRS 50 watt radio testing.
I use this dummy load with a Midland MX 500 GMRS radio to periodically do various radio tests that require a dummy load. Using a Volt Ohm Meter mine measured 50.1 ohms statically, and it never became hot to touch during any of my normal radio testing. The load connector and cooling fins seem more than adequate for its intended purpose at GMRS radio frequencies. Its a good reliable value in my opinion.

Good dummy load.
Good dummy load. Never ran more than 50W through it.

Couldnโt ask for better
This unit works perfect for the application that I needed it for. I wanted to discuss some 2 m equipment without going on the air and it works great.

Good product
Quality made, some good mass to it, easy to mount.

Excellent dummy load
I used the dummy load to set right the mic gain in my transceiver and it performed well. A good product.

this 50w is super from 1Mhz to 1Ghz
very nice solid construction, beautiful design, and more important the performances are higher than expected.. on the VSWR image, the pink vertical lines show amateur bands where i will use it.. edit, second purchase for a SWR of 2.0 !! used with a "T" adaptor for to have a SWR of 2.0 (25 ohms) and now able of to verify all the "SWR Meters".. my nanoVNA show a SWR of 2.1 (146 MHz) from the radio in/out connection: the path is a short cable + SWR meter + antenna cable + "T" adapter + 2 dummy loads 50 ohms 50w.. tested at 45w (VHF at 146 MHz), only one VHF/UHF SWR meter (a rare "150w analog" type available here) give a better reading (SRW = 2.0) than any other "Digital" ones (who give a SWR < 1.5).. and this "Analog" one have, at least, adjustments.. note.. when you purchase a new SWR meter, to verify it, do this test..

Seems To Be Great!
I've been testing my VHF HTs with this and haven't had a problem. I've yet to connect it to my little VHF amplifier but I don't expect anything out of the ordinary. This dummy load is pretty solid. The connector is nice, and I've been getting a 1.0 SWR on all my testing.

Sturdy and works like a charm
I got this RF Dummy Load to work in my CB Radio which is very useful to do transmit tests without swr and without disturbing people on the channel. Great Product
