Works well, can be taken off without leaving a mark on any stock

As a relatively new shooter, I often walk away from a shoot with a sore cheek where the gun slaps me a little bit if I don’t mount correctly. This little gel pad is so worth the money if you’re like me, whether you need it for a few shoots or long term, this will save you from headaches and tender cheekbones!

I bought this to raise comb a few millimetres Used it three times and each time removed it from stock before cleaning and storing the gun (Baretta 686) when I removed it the fourth time it left behind a sticky residue I attempted to remove this with water and light detergent but found I was losing finish as well as residue and stopped Now I’m left with a patch either side of the comb which I cant remove without removing the stock finish This is a relatively new gun Approx 3000 rounds Now I’m faced with hours of hand applied CLL oil stock conditioner or a complete refinish of the stock not happy I would avoid this product even though it clearly states “leaves no residue”
