Can the apps for the otamatone techno version be downloaded on the us ios app store or are they strictly in the japanese app store?

I see that it can take a 5v ac adapter. does it come with one? if not, is there a recommended adapter for this?

According to a combination of the text description of this product and from the stock photos, it indicates that this does NOT include a power adapter. You could easily buy a third party AC to DC adapter for fairly cheap. The output specs of the adapter are 5v DC, 500mA (or 0.5A) and the center pin is positive; outer sleeve is negative.

This musical instruments are awesome! We got the techno so we can plug it into a smart phone or tablet and use the sounds that they let us download and it sounds just like a flute or an electric guitar, and all the other instruments that come with!!! Great effects as well. People love it and want to check it out and play it! Careful because some people are a little rough if you get my meaning!!! This is not a cheap toy it is a very well designed and mad. Musical instrument!! Worth every penny! Be aware that you can do “simple” stuff out of the box, but there is quite a learning curve to get advanced!
