I'm very happy with the product now that I figured out how to make it work. FYI, it's the silver cable. This cable is actually a PCMCIA device with hardware of its own, and it requires a driver of its own. That driver is provided in TI Connect, which can be downloaded from the TI education website. Download and install TI Connect before attaching the cable so Windows will assign the correct driver to it. That website is also where you get all the applications (apps) you want for your TI graphing calculator. DO NOT try to use this cable (the silver cable) with TI Graph Link software if you have a TI-83, TI-83 Plus, or newer. I tried the cable with TI Graph Link on my TI-83 Plus, and it wouldn't work at all. I installed TI Connect and it still wouldn't work until I uninstalled TI Graph Link in programs and in Windows device manager. Graph Link creates an IRQ conflict with the PCMCIA device in this cable, and won't work until the IRQ conflict is resolved. That's a Windows thing, but something you should be aware of if you tried Graph Link and now TI Connect won't work. Go to System > Device Manager, open it and scroll down to the USB connections. Delete (uninstall) the TI Graph Link USB device under USB connections. If you installed TI Connect, it installed the cable under PCMCIA devices. That's the correct connection, even though you use a USB connector to attach it to the computer. I wish someone had posted this information somewhere. It took me about 16 hours to figure out what I'd done wrong and how to fix it. Luckily, I'm old enough to remember how Windows devices actually connect and how they work or I would have been clueless.

This works perfectly with TiLP. Used it for both a TI-85 and TI-86. In 2023.

Not sure what I expected - kind of underwhelmed by what this makes possible. Great quality and it worked as advertised. There just is not much one can do with it.

I just got it today... great packing job and service . Was not sure if the cable I ordered was right one for the TI-92 computer that I bought it on Ebay for under 20 bucks. I had already located the software and just install the software and configure the com port for the TI-92. And I'm now in business talking to the TI-92 with my laptop. life is good !!! I would buy from this source again. I was able to delete a function that I had problems trying to do that with out the cable. I already backup my programs on my TI-95 computer with the cable. bottom line happy camper.
