Has anybody used these for backpacking Europe- if so what for.

I love these bags. Between 2018 to 2020 I went everywhere from camping, Scandinavia, DC, UK, the Pacific, NYC, etc. I lived out of a small carry-on but I always took these bags with us in our luggage. They keep things divided in my big bag. They are wonderful. I’ve used them to hold foods, ice for an injury, dirty clothes, sea shells, etc etc they were used, and used but they show no wear, and they wash up well. My whole family uses my little bags and and I’ve just ordered a 3rd set because everyone in my family wants to use them on our trips.

One night we were in Time Square and decided to buy flowers from a local market to give to my daughter after her performance in Carnegie hall. I filled the bag half full of napkins and water and put the flower stems down in the water and then tightened the mouth of the bag around the stems. I then went to the concert, and put the flowers on the floor by my seat.  After the two hour concert, the flowers looked great and the bag was still dry on the outside. Super impressed. These little bags are the best for how inexpensive they are. I’m not worried about losing them because I know I can replace them for not too much money.

Question 3

Would a 14 inch laptop be able to fit in one of the dry bags?

The largest bag is 10 3/8" x 15". This measurement is the widest part of the bag before the tapered end. Also this is with the bag completely flattened. So depending on the dimensions of you laptop, this may work. I would guess that the dimensions would more realistically be more like 9" x 13 1/2" comfortably fitting in the bag with the top folded to seal... Hope this helps.

Question 4

Is reverse use possible? to fill with bag ice while camping and keep veggies fresh but not waterlogged from ice melt.  (No freezer for gel packs.)

Haven't tried to soak them yet but they've worked great in the rain and with orders as well.  I use them as bear bags.  I suggest using a Freezer bag to line the drysac just in case.
