My daughter has a lot of allergies which cause her migraines. She has had migraines since she was just 3 years old. Her biggest cause of migraines are Gluten. Although we try very hard to keep it away from her, it seems to follow us everywhere! When she gets a migraine, she loves to be in a cold, dark room and with an ice pack. We have gone through a lot of ice packs. Some of them just get old and bust so it was time to get some new ones. I found these and thought it would be good for her to put on her head or neck when she is sick. We normally get the large packs but they tend to slip off her head as she sleeps. These ice packs are about the size of a mason jar top. It's about the size of her palm. These are the perfect size to lay on her face as she sleeps or on the head. We just use a headband to help hold it in place. It's also good for putting on the back of her neck or head and we hold them in place like we do on the front. These are just small enough that I can carry one in my purse for those emergency situations or travel to the fields for soccer. I really like the size of these and it don't seem to leak or that it will. We also tried heating them up in the microwave. It says to heat it up for 10 seconds which we did. It got pretty warm which was a plus in just that short amount of time. All together, I believe this is a good set and I will be buying more! For those hot flash ladies out there, this is 2 in 1! One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon over many years. A well-designed and (so far) well-made product that I've found enormously helpful for local inflammation / itching caused by injections. Very inexpensive given the benefit they provide. I use both sides -- insulated for moderate cold and uninsulated when I need extra cold for quick relief.

These were perfect for my breast augmentation surgery BUT they did not last long! Just about 5-10 minutes and I’m back to the freezer. Perfect size, perfect coldness, just wish they’d last longer 🥺

I use these for my migraines. They are small and the perfect size to put over my eye. They are not going to stay cold forever, but that is just the nature of gel packs and especially ones this small. But since they come in a multipack, you can replace them once they warm up. I’ve been using these for years and bought new once after I left them behind in a move.

Ordered these to use after laparoscopic hysterectomy. They are hot/cold packs. Very thick & durable. They do not leak & stay froze quite a while. They cover an area about the size of the palm of your hand.

I bought these so I could ice my eyes and cheeks after my nose job without touching my nose. These are round and flat, but have a kind of large fabric border around them making it hard to get into the small crevices under my eyes and around my nose. I have to squish all the gel into half of the circle and fold the pack in half, and this works pretty well. They do get cold and relieve my pain and swelling so I gave them 3 stars. It’s a bit of a pain to try to move around the frozen gel, and also I noticed they thaw out fairly quickly but take quite a while to freeze again. All in all, they’re acceptable just not amazing.

Had eyelid surgery and these were lifesavers! Highly recommend!

this is the second product i have gotten from this seller, and it also has its unique and helpful points..as a family, we all have our aches and pains as we age, while my teen son seems to seek out ever chair leg or furniture edge with his pinkie toe--and THAT is where these smaller hot and cold packs come in----they come in a box of 6 so we have 3 in the fridge---ready and waiting for the next toe emergency---and 3 are kept by the microwave for the aches that are more at a pressure point than an all over hurt---just a short time in the microwave and you have a pinpoint of nice, soothing warmth for that annoying spot!! as with the larger whole back pad we got, these look like just gel pads and you would probably be afraid that they would pop in the microwave----you would be wrong, as i was----but DO read the given instructions for times to put them in---from trial and error, i have found ---in MY microwave, that the larger one is fine at full power for a minute ( they suggest half power), but these are pretty warm at the given time and power setting---i was VERY happy to be able to get this at a discount so i could try them out and let you all know how they worked for me, and i have to say that if you are in the market for heat and cold therapy, these work very well for both---once you get over the fear of the gel look!!! next up is going to be their neck wrap one---check it out when you check out these---it is shaped to go up the back of your neck and onto your shoulders!!!!-----i cannot wait to try that one!!!!

Great product. works well, re-freezes quickly. Very comfortable and effective. I like the fact it has a textured side and can use it without a shirt. Has been very helpful in recovering from an injury.

We have used the gel ice packs already a few times and my daughters love them. Their surface is such that it does not stick to the skin, and thereby cools (and I guess heats, but we have not used that feature as yet) without any attendant pain. Excellent product!!!

Handy to use, warm up in microwave. Be careful - their small size means they heat up quickly. 15 Seconds is hot. Good for putting in mittens in winter or keeping small things warm/cold.

I purchased these because I'm on my second round of antibiotics for a stubborn sinus infection that is causing a great deal of pain, not just on my face but my neck as well. I love that one side has fabric so that there is less chance of causing discomfort from overheated gel packs. When the pack starts to cool down a bit I can turn it over to the plastic side and it's just the right temperature. I keep them on my eyes by sliding them under my sleep mask. Happy with the product and will likely look at others from this company.

Got these to put over my eyes to try to depuff them. I liked the fact they had material on the back. I hate having the plastic on my skin. I pictured i could lie down and put them on my eyelids similar you would with cucumbers but they are too big, have no grip, and arent cold enough to work unless you push them down. I didn't like having to lie there with my hands holding them over my lids. Not very relaxing. I didnt find it cold enough either unless i was pushing down. Just not ideal for what I wanted them for and I can't imagine these being better than a regular ice pack for general injuries so im returning them.
